killer combo!!
here is the killer combo for the case, nvme hat and ssd for the raspberry pi 5.easy to connect in a few minutes. i removed the micro sd card to make sure only the ssdwas being used. then i connected it to ethernet and booted up the pi. just hold down shiftwhen you see the boot menu and it will download and install from the internet your OS distribution on the ssd.i am seeing speeds about 10x faster now. very happy with this combo.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CMZ84GM8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titlehttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B08K79T9G5?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titlehttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CSFHTJP8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

Well described. You get what they said you'd get.
Sturdy, well machined and well put together. Enough room for the Pi and its cooler hat, and it looks like there's still enough room for yet another hat, such as a hard-drive-solid-state-equivalent. I haven't yet put another such hat on it, but it sure looks like there's enough head room inside the generously-sized little case. All the small parts (spacer bolts, for instance, plus the nice little screwdriver they include) were present and carefully packaged. I had zero trouble with assembly.

Screwdriver placement?
Great case! It's strong, well built, sturdy, easy to open and close. It has an excellent PWM fan controlled by the Raspberry 5 itself. It come with all the screws you need, along with some extras, if you drop one and lose it in the carpet. It also comes with a handy little philips screwdriver to use if you don't have the right size one on hand. One thing about that screwdriver though. It's packaged inside the case, with two small screws holding the case closed. If you don't have a screwdriver, and need to use the nice little one they provided, you can't get to it because it's behind two screws you need to remove! Easy enough to change, if they simply use a small piece of tape to hold it closed during shipping.

Solid high quality construction, bad GPIO cable slot size/placement
This case is simple and utilitarian - not a bad thing if you value function over form. Its all-metal construction and good ventilation will keep your RPi cool. Cutouts for the various connectors (with one exception) line up well. I encountered no difficulties in mounting my RPi into this case and assembling it. All the hardware you'll need to accomplish this, including a small screwdriver, is included in the kit.The one issue I had with this case is that the cutout(s) on the sides of the base piece for running out a cable from the RPI GPIO header does not quite line up with the header. A ribbon cable connected to the GPIO header and run out the side slot will get pinched on one edge. There's also the issue of the slot height not being quite tall enough to permit the entry of a cable with a header connector already attached. You would run into a similar problem if using a right-angle pin adapter - pins 39.40 would be blocked by the case and the opening would not be large enough to accommodate a 40-pin (2x20) header connector.-1 star for poor GPIO cable slot size and placement, would have easily earned 5 stars otherwise.

Love this case - strong as can be - good cooling openings and good fitment.
I bought the plastic red and white case that is made for the PI5 and didn't feel it had good cooling nor strong enough for my concerns. What I found with this case, is a strong, wonderful case that works great with a PI5.I track the temperatures of my PI and found my PI ran 5 to 10 degrees cooler once I moved from the red and one case to this one...Highly recommend and plenty of space you are considering using a HAT and/or factory fan...

Well constructed and spacious enclosure . OEM style fan - some additional info in review
I'm writing this so that others may have some additional info that I had to dig for myself. In general, the enclosure itself is big and airy. I got this enclosure as (eventually) I'll install a NVME card/drive to this, and my understanding is that this enclosure will allow a GeekPi NVME hat to be installed in the cage. One important thing to note is that the fan is NOT an always on solution. Once installed, it does not turn on all the time instead is controlled by the RPI5 firmware. To test your fan, the following command runs the fan at 100%:pinctrl FAN_PWM op dlTo reset it to auto, run:pinctrl FAN_PWM a0

excellent case for the RPi5
There is room for a NVMe hat with a 2280 M.2 device. Everything works. Well done.
