Another fine Hereford product. A civilian MRE that you can Carry in your cargo pocket for a fast energy boost out in the boonies. Yes, it has a lot of sauce, a sweet Smokey southern bbq sauce that will be even better with a dash of your favorite hot sauce. I suggest carrying a pouch of that 10 minute boil in a bag rice with it; heat both in the same pot of water, dump the rib meat and sauce over the rice and Bob’s your uncle.

Perfect size pouch for the two of us. Great for food prep storage. Pouch is foil, not plastic, and cannot be microwaved. Taste is 4 out of 5, not bad but not exceptional. It’s expensive but comparable to other survival foods. This is good on sliders or mixed into baked beans or made into brisket tacos.

Makes a great BBQ sandwich. The sauce is on the sweet side. one package can make two servings when I added more ingredients like onion.

I liked the taste and there was enough for 2 sandwiches.

These pouches of meat do have a long shelf life, and are easy to use. The meat has good texture and flavor, though the sauce is a bit too sweet for my taste. It also is a bit greasy, though beef ribs are a fatty cut, and it can be excused. This is a good pantry item, in my opinion, and with the lightweight packaging, excellent for camping or hiking.

This item Tasted like Dog food But I thought if I cooked it and added a small amount bid Garlic this might help it taste more like people food,. But six hours later I was Vomiting This product . I believe I should receive a refund ,. But I’m told this is not refundable . Buyer beware.

Its way too saucy. Probably about half the weight is sauce. Meat is good though.Shelf life is only 2 years.
