Practical Insights Apply to Business and Interpersonal Relationships
The Art of Game Theory has provided me with practical insights on making informed decisions, particularly in my retail and wholesale business, and has reinforced the importance of considering factors such as pricing, strategic thinking, and empathy. It is a valuable resource that encapsulates insights about making strategic decisions in business management, economics, friendship, familial and intimate relationships, etc. Some concepts presented in the book, such as the depositor's dilemma and price leadership, have been insightful guides for running my business. I am actually applying the same strategies. Additionally, I appreciated the emphasis on gathering information before making a decision, which has helped me develop a more strategic approach not only in business but also in my interpersonal endeavors. One of the aspects that resonated with me the most was the discussion on the power of signals, highlighting the significance of education and skill in signaling one's abilities. Moreover, the book's exploration of game theory's connection to empathy has been a valuable takeaway, as I believe that building strong relationships is essential in any business endeavor.I believe that this book offers a comprehensive understanding of fundamental business concepts, and I would recommend it to anyone seeking to improve their strategic decision-making skills.

Needs More Depth
This can be a really great book, if it had more depth. It barely scratches the surface and the only depth provided is by the reader to answer the questions. Book has potential.

Excited to apply!
“The Art of Game Theory” is a great intro to the world of strategic decision-making. It was easy to understand and broke down complex concepts like Nash equilibria and the prisoner’s dilemma into ideas that, I felt, anyone can grasp. I love the game of chess myself and found it interesting how the author applied similar principles used in the game to life itself. I’d highly recommended it for beginners and lifelong learners alike! now it’s time to try and apply this myself!

Not bad but didn't resonate with me
I was told this was a great book on game theory but I couldn't finish it. It's very dryly written and wasn't really helping me understand the concepts it was presenting.

An important consideration in one's daily decision making. The book does not preach but gives helpful concepts to be considered when decisions have to be made.

A valuable introduction to game theory and its social applications
Ever since I learned about zero-player games, defined by John Horton Conway half a century ago, I have felt that the rules in various types of games can easily be applied to many other disciplines and life itself. "The Art of Game Theory" by Brian Flaherty & Wisdom University was literally my way to learn more about the world of game theory and all its aspects beyond mathematics and logic.Although game theory is applicable to many different social behaviors, including artificial intelligence and its reinforcement learning and politics within the framework of using strategy to achieve specific outcomes, the book is broadly focused on economics and all aspects within it. The most valuable lesson I gained after reading certain chapters in the book is that game theory defines several competing options for more efficient decision-making and acting on known facts for avoiding the paradox of choice, a key concept in economics and life as well. I also appreciate practical examples in everyday life and the direct application potential of game theory in many situations.Although the book is intended for beginners, it is written in professional language and, as such, still requires some sort of prior knowledge in certain areas. I still recommend it to anyone who would like to learn something new, but also to those who would like to improve their knowledge in the field of decision-making.
