Timmy Time: Snap Shot Timmy [DVD]

I have lots of different types of DVDs I have received as a present for my 22nd month old son. He cannot concentrate in people, tales, books, toys or activities for a moment, let alone be calm (yes, kids are supposed to be like that but mine surprises even his caretakers in kindergarden). Some only showed things, colours with some classical music in the background and he only felt sleepy or just left the room to play with my kitchen devices or to get into trouble into other rooms, I also had some DVDs which weren't meant to be for children in such an early age, he cannot follow the conversations and the stories deal with many things he cannot understand yet because his life experiences are very limited so he was uninterested. I was told this BBC character did wonders in pre-schoolers and I can't be more grateful. Timmy the sheep is just perfect, right what I wanted. He loves it! Yes, he can't concentrate for long but he imitates the noises, loves the music and I think somehow he relates that to his experiences in kindergarden. I'll buy more.

My grandson (4) and I have recently discovered Timmy on CBeebies. It is a brilliant little programme for pre-schoolers as it is set in a preschool and the characters are typical of that age group. Timmy learns an important lesson each time, but always in a fun and loving way. No dialogue so it demands attention - very good training for school!The DVD is excellent - 8 little episodes and all great fun. Love it!

bought this dvd as my 4 month old son caught an episode on tv and was smitten. A great dvd which keeps my sons attention with nice short episodes of around 5 mins. This is perfect as i dont want him sat infront of the television for too long.

My 2 year old daughter loves Timmy Time! Although she can't sing all the words yet she has a good go and sings about Timmy morning, noon and night. Timmy's antics and clever story lines (with no speech at all, so totally reliant on gestures, expressions and animal noises) have also impressed me, my husband and the grandparents. Short enough to watch before nursery or before bed with a warm milk. This is only the 2nd Timmy dvd we own. The first was a gift and has been very well received. I'm sure we'll be buying more for ourselves and friends.

minor scratches and marks on disc causing play to stop a couple of times otherwise ok

Timmy is just brilliant, my 2.5 year old and also the rest of the family love watching this DVD. She has just started nursery and the stories relate really well. It's all about Timmy learning to interact with his little class mates and the fun things they get up to. Timmy learns from his actions and always does the right thing in the end. We also have the other Timmy DVDs and they are all equally great. We can't get enough of Timmy!

our grandson is 14 months old and loves Shaun the sheep and timmy, he comes into our house and the first words are Baa, so it was a brilliant addition for such a small amount and in great condition and delivered before the said date.

this dvd is so brilliant its 81 mins long so their are 8 timmy time adventures on their,this was my sons first dvd of timmy time and he really loves timmy timei would say that this is a definate buy also if your little ones are timmy time fans
