This model has an internal sensor. Other logtag models like the UTRED30-16 have Wifi capability or like TRED30-7R have an external sensor that can be placed in the area that requires monitoring.

How is the device reused to start another series of readings?

Hi Michael, Thank you for your question. There are 2 ways of resetting the device for another series of readings. 1. Reconfigure the device once full to erase the previous memory and reset it for next use with a fresh memory, see - https://www.logtag.com.au/configuring-your-logtag/ 2. Change the settings on your LogTag so that readings will record continuously and roll-over once full, which can be found on the same link above.
