InSinkErator Power 1HP, 1 HP Garbage Disposal, Power Series EZ Connect Continuous Feed Food Waste Disposer, Black

I moved into my house (first owner) at the end of 2016. Slowly I've been replacing the builder grade appliances, etc. My garbage disposal stopped working just before Prime Days in this past fall. I found this disposal and thought between my daughter and I, we could install it. I was wrong. Apparently this one was larger than the original one. Thanks to a very reasonably priced plumber, it was installed and is working like a charm! I'm so glad I happened upon this during Prime Days and would highly recommend to anyone needing a new disposal.

My old Insinkerator disposal was only 1/2 horse power and stopped working after about 4 years. In looking for a replacement, I wanted something that was a little less noisy. I finally decided to go with an upgraded model from the same manufacturer that was advertised as quieter than the base model. I also decided to upgrade to a 1 horse power model, which had a slightly higher cost. Initially, I was going to drive to Lowes to buy it, but I noticed that Amazon had next day delivery at no cost for prime members. So, it was a no brainer to order it from Amazon. When I awoke the next morning, it had already been delivered. Installation was easy, thanks to the EZ Connect wiring system built into the disposal. It took about 30 minutes. My decision to go with a quieter and more powerful disposal was a great decision. The power is very noticeable when grinding tough foods, it's much quicker now. Also, I can still hear my TV when someone is using the disposal. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this InSinkErator Power 1HP garbage disposal.

Easy to install,Works very well

My husband purchased this as a replacement for my previous disposal. My last incinerator lasted 11 years. He decided to get a new one for me, He is a specification geek and this met his needs. It is powerful and not too loud, it does have noise though. Everyone needs this for your kitchen. Think of it as a tool....Just call me Tina "the tool girl" Taylor.

Excellent disposal. Not as quiet as the smaller hp units but still quiet compared to the old ones.

Unfortunately it was broken when it arrived. I was excited to receive it. It was a great value. Should have been easy to install. I had to send back for a different one.
