My optician told me that I had the early onset of macular degeneration and that I should take a supplement to halt its progress. In 1984 I was diagnosed with macular dystrophy. All was OK until my eyesight started to deteriorate. I now need two pairs of glasses. The ophthalmist at the hospital confirmed AMD as well and recommended these to maintain my sight. In August my optician stated that, over the last year, there was no discernible deterioration in my sight. At the hospital, the ophthalmist said he could not see any difference in the photos of the back of my eye taken last year and this.Now I have had three years with no deterioration.
