Bought these tips because our Super Finish Max sprayer was having issues with splatter and paint drying and clumping after short uses. I couldn't figure out the issue, so started replacing each piece that was wearable. We started with the tips and the plastic air direction caps. It appears that was the problem.These new tips kept a much better spray going with no leaking like the original. So I guess lesson learned is that although these tips are metal unlike some cheaper guns, they still wear out. When the paint on the tips starts peeling more, probably time to replace because this almost immediately fixed our issue. Hopefully this can help others because I searched high and low and couldn't find a solution to the clumping at the tip from paint drying.The only downside with these tips is that there was no tool to put on and take off the tips. I know that came with the gun, but we have lost it over the years, so it would be nice to include the tool to remove and tighten them with a new set. That was the reason for a 1 star reduction. If I could reduce 1/2 a star that would have been more appropriate.

Very low quality and apparently no quality control effort. Simply did not work and never would unless I wanted to drill my own hole in the tip. Obviously that is not expected and would not be sufficiently accurate. Returned the item.
