I used these to make some shaker doors. Theye worked really well and they were so much cheaper than any of the DIY stores. They were really sharp and made a clean, sharp recess

I read the reviews for these and thought I'd take a punt. Intended use was clean up for existing rebates in Oak, taking about 1 mm max. Front cut OKish, but top cut absolutely terrible, almost set fire to the Oak. Close examination after only 200mm of cutting and I've seen sharper bananas! I've checked one of the bits I haven't used and the top of the cutter wont even scrape a finger nail. Maybe OK for pine.

Bought these to put a rebate in some picture frames I was making. I used the 1/4" bit with a 1-1/8" bearing (so a shallow and narrow cut) which was fine for the frame. On the second frame the bearing obviously hadn't been grease packed properly as it sparked, disintegrated and then flew off onto the floor leaving me to finish the rebate off by hand. Cannot recommend these unfortunately.Returned and kindly refunded by Amazon.
