I used to laugh at my grandmother who used one of these all the time. Now that I’m getting older I understand why. I’m in my late 40s and my vision is not what it used to be. This magnifying glass is awesome. I find myself using it more and more and it’s pretty versatile. The light is cool And the bifocal is great. It shipped quickly and came at a great price.

I purchased this for an older family member that had a botched eye surgery. It works very well and the 5.5 inch glass provides good coverage. They are very happy with it and I liked it so much I am going to get one for myself. The light works well. Not sure about the little "black" light. Have not had a chance to really test that out. Overall, a great product, quality magnifying glass.

Excellent..best magnifier I have used since real glass magnifiers were available 60 years ago. Must remember that when reading with the white light on, pressing the ""on/off" button once switches to the UV light...press the switch again to shut it off.This could help save your batteries.

The magnification is fantastic. The light is great. However, it is extremely easy to turn the light on accidentally putting it back in the bag.

My dad never needed a magnifying glass because he had bifocals on his actual glasses. After cataract surgery he doesn't need to wear his glasses anymore to see distance. However he needs glasses to see how close. The doctor told us not to use his old glasses for reading because that would mess with his brains ability to learn how to use the new lenses he has in his eyes.During the transition time I pick this up for him and he's able to read his paper, magazines and bills. I do really like that it has a light on it however there is what is stated in the description as a UV light. I don't understand the purpose of that. My issue is that one click turns the light on, a second click turns the light off but the UV light on and the third click turn everything off. My father forgets the third click so he ends up leaving it with the UV light on that runs down the AAA batteries inside. Other than that issue it's a nice large magnifying glass that is light and easy to hold.

Excellent magnifier. Best features are the large diameter and the 2-stage light on the underside.Suggestion to users - When you are finished using it, set it down upside down. That is, with the lights facing UP. One time I thought that I had turned the light off and I set it down without realizing that the smaller light was still on. In a few days the 3 batteries were dead. If I had set it down with the lights facing up, I would have seen that I didn't turn it completely off.

Very good quality, clear lense with little distortion. I would call this one a "real" magnifying glass versus so many cheap plastic alternatives out there.
