Excellent value and well made piece of kit. There are lots of different socket sizes to choose from and from a well known brand so should last for a long time, very pleased with my purchase.

Hitachi Socket set.
I did not expect too much from this socket set and only ordered it because it was quite cheap but it turned out good value for the money.It came in a very small case which takes up very little room but has all you need inside for your average handy man and jobs round the house and garden.The set contained an adapter which turned my impact wrench into an impact drive so now hardly ever need any other drills or tools .....it does the lot.

First impression, a very nice socket set and a nice case.
I recieved this socket/bit set today and have not had a chance to use it yet but...To clear up what some of the other reviewers have said:The socket heads are labled as made from Chrome Vanadium Steel and so are pretty corrosion resistant and strong, they were not splattered in oil as one commented. The socket heads also have a decent depth to them. Seperatly in the box is a bag with 2 sizes of retaining bar/rubber ring for the socket heads. Maybe people that had issues did not assemble/use those.The bit heads inside do seem to only be for drill drivers not impacts as they lack the coloured banding my Hikoki impact bit set has. The bit holder has a pretty strong magnet in it which is nice.The set arrived for me shrink wrapped in a cardboard box with the actual set inside that. The socket/bit set box is solid plastic with the Hikoki logo on the lid. It has nice latches to it and it is a genuine Hikoki set.The box says it is made in Taiwan and distributed by Hikoki Netherlands.For 5 stars I would have liked the driver bits to have been impact bits.Once I have used the set for a while I will come back and update my review. I'll still use the bits in my impact driver at work and see how quickly they disintegrate.

Not Hitachi
Advertised a Hitachi but they are actually Hicotchi which doesn't sound as good , but the product is actually very Good so no real need to Mislead to buyer, would of given 5 stars but for the misleading information

Useful
I have only had this product for about a month or so so I cannot confirm longevity. However, everything about it feels well made and robust, even the container.
