Does this have the latest firmware update?

I plugged mine straight in to the pc and it does come with the latest firmware now. which is v1.20

How about with headset can I be able to talk on mic?

Don’t know what the previous comment is ... you can talk on mic you just have to have a usb headset you can’t. Use the pad 3.5mm jack for headphones or headset that won’t work but hence why you get the headphone adaptor which converts your 3.5mm to usb however the sound card is cheap and I would suggest either buying a better quality one or just going ahead and buying a usb headset

Yes. Keyboard and mouse works on all Xbox with this.
