Good basic laptop for video, 3D rendering, and graphic art.
I bought this to replace my antique HP laptop because I do video editing and I’m starting to branch out and learn 3D modeling with Blendr and Daz3D. . It tackles renders fairly quick and doesn’t lag when editing video with Davinci Resolve. Battery life can be short depending on how hard you are pushing it but I keep it plugged in mostly. I would definitely recommend getting a cooling stand with fans to put under it because the bottom will get hot under a constant workload.I love mine so far!11/4/23 EDIT.Started playing FiveM GTA and Ark Ascended on the laptop and can run both on very high settings with no sweat. Laptop still going strong. I should’ve opted for the larger Hard Drive but will add an external SSD soon. 500GB runs out of space fast. Loving this little powerhouse of a laptop!

Great performance, noisy cooling system
I bought this laptop for just 1099$ on sale and I'm absolutely satisfied. After setting up Gaming mode in MSI Center and updating Nvidia drivers all latest games that I play run smoothly, without freezes. Running heavy games laptop soon becomes hot on center top, but cooling system works well and handles it. But it's very noisy when running on full speed.Screen is good, I didn't have other laptops in same price category to compare, but this one is okay to me.Battery is a weak side of this laptop. Don't expect to spend some hours in cafe doing your work on it, battery lasts for very very short time.Great that laptop has additional slot for SSD memory stick and two slots for RAM, so you can extend it.

Good for the price, with some issues.
I got the 12UGKV-464 version, which is the i7-12700H with the RTX 3070.Pros:Very fast, runs new games at Ultra with no problemStyling, i like it but that's subjectiveCompact for a laptop with this performanceBang for buck, if you grab it on sale, it's worth the amount of performance you can get for a laptop at this price point compared to its competitorsCons:Screen color is awful (I've spent hours in the app trying to correct it but it is just bad)Runs HOT, even with the fan on max, I've seen the CPU jump above 90c many times.Storage, it comes with a 512gb drive, which with windows leaves you with not much room. This version only has one extra m2 slot and no 2.5" slot. Also, adding another drive requires you to open to laptop, breaking the seal and voiding your warranty.Battery life, I brought this to a meeting at work once instead of my smaller chromebook. Even on 'super battery mode', only running MS Word, the battery didn't survive the 1.5 hour meeting. It's technically a laptop but don't expect to be able to use it not plugged in for any amount of time.Overall, I'd give it a 4/5.The performance of this thing is great, I've tried many new games with it and it's performed very well. The cooling issues are very concerning, as this can seriously shorten the lifespan of the CPU (the GPU doesn't seem to have the same issues). The heat, lack of expandable storage, nonexistant battery life, and the screen coloration are holding this back from being a 5/5 for me. If you are going to use this primarily at home, somewhere it can be kept well ventilated, connected to an external monitor and occasionally bring it out, I'd suggest it.

It was what I expected for a gaming laptop, great quality-price.
The laptop is great, quality-price. The only thing is not so good is the battery life but you can improve it and plug it in if you need to play video games or work hard with it. It can also heat up especially when you are playing, but that is normal too for a gaming laptop, you can turn onn fans to cool it down which is great, and in my personal opinions they are just a little noisy. I say it is a good buy If you want somethung fast and if you don't mind pluging it constantly or using a cooling table. I am happy with it so far.

You get what you pay for.
Bought this for my son when he went to college. This is a good computer. Like all laptops, it comes with all the extra apps and crap that we all hate. You'll need to trim those up to get the full performance out of it. For a 3070 based laptop, it also has pretty short battery life and it runs pretty hot. Your fan will be running a lot. With that said, the build quality is good and it games well in addition to the other things you might want it to do.

Powerful and affordable mid-range Gaming
Pros:• Latest 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor is fast enough for gaming and other computing activities.• RTX 3070 GPU is the graphic card you want inside a gaming laptop.• 144Hz FHD display – make sure you change that in your display settings.• Cooling on this laptop is quiet and does the job.Con:• Battery life is average but I usually plug in when game extensively. My Three Cents:This is one of many gaming laptops I own and will probably take on the road or on a business trip. It’s light and not bulky but still provides a powerful gaming experience. If you’re looking for something compared to a mid-range desktop, this is probably the closest gaming laptop to get.

Unbelievable for the price
For $1100 this is a super good deal. I dropped in a 2tb nvme and 32gb of ram and this thing runs like a beast. The 3070 has not stumbled on anything I've played and the cpu is running very well. It does get pretty hot, but something like the GT500 laptop cooler and alleviate that.Set up was a breeze and it was easy to upgrade as well. Highly recommended for a laptop with a lot of power and a solid price. It is probably more expensive that others, but the 3070 and the cpu in this laptop are super solid. For 1080p, they have more than ample power for whatever you throw on it.
