Great value and quality
We have one room of wall to wall carpeting in our home and didn't want to spend a fortune on a carpet cleaning machine but we need one as we have an older dog who is prone to accidents. It's great for little spot cleaning but also for a true deep clean. The solution it came with is nice, but I usually use a different product that is a universal detergent with urine eliminating enzymes, due to the dog situation. It's easy to use and assemble/take apart and keep clean. It comes with a mat for storage after use. We keep it in a closet. I have been able to do the entire room with this machine, but I do have to stop a few times to empty the dirty water/add new cleaning mix/clear the brush roll, but that's to be expected with a compact machine in a very large room so I won't take away stars for that. Works consistently and well, is lightweight and looks nice. Runs well and the carpeting doesn't take too long to dry afterward, especially with a fan running. If you have a home with just enough carpeting or rugs that need regular cleaning this can't be beat for the price and simplicity.

Perfect for smaller spaces
I was looking for an affordable carpet, cleaning solution for my new condo. I didn’t want something too big or too expensive, Or something that required lots of maintenance. This machine really does the trick. It’s not as bulky as many carpet machines so bringing it out to do quick cleanup after my new puppy has an accident is a snap. There are no complex parts or connections required. Just filled the tank, add solution, plug it in and do your thing!I used it for the first time after moving into my new place. I realized after I used it that the previous owner had cats. Every few minutes, A ball of wet fur would fall out of the machine. This is both a blessing and occurs. It’s great that the machine picks up and gathers animal fur. What’s a little gross is that clumps of wet fur come out of the machine every once in a while that you have to pick up by hand, which is not a dealbreaker, but it would be nice if the machine picked it up and kept it in the dirty water tank. But for under $120 it’s something I’m willing to deal with. The clean water tank holds maybe a half gallon of water into which you add a couple of teaspoons of cleaning solution. I would say one tank is good enough to clean a small medium living room easily. My living room is about 12 x 15, And I was able to clean the entire room plus a hallway, which is about 3 x 20.So if there were any negatives, I would say that one is the cord Length which could be longer. I think it measures about 20 feet but if you count for furniture that you have to get around that cord only allows a reach of about 12 to 15 feet. Beyond that you have to unplug the cord and plug it in to another outlet to reach the other part of the room.Another minor annoyance is how loud this machine is. For something so small it sounds almost as loud as one of the large carpet cleaning machines. If anything, it is more motivation for you to get the job done quicker so you can turn off the noise.I really like the machine comes apart very easily for cleaning. There were lots of areas in the nozzle where cat fur was stuck, but it’s easy to open up the nozzle without tools and rinse out the brush and the nozzle. The dirty water tank is sort of a strange shape and maybe a little challenging to completely rinse it out, but it’s not a huge deal. I am hopeful that future cleanings won’t include all the cat for since I picked it up this first time around. This is the first time I’ve ever owned and used a carpet cleaning machine. Overall, I’m really happy with the results and I think it met all of my expectations for a small and affordable product!

Lasts about a year, but still worth it
I’ve been thru three of this series and they lasted about a year. First the motor sounds like it’s laboring then a few days/weeks later the motor fails. But they are around a hundred dollars so I figure cheaper than hiring a cleaning company. Works great for the first 12 months. Cleans well and sucks up the water so the carpet dries fast. My issue with these Hoover pet carpet cleaners is they fall apart. The out take container falls off the unit so be careful rolling the unit with a full container because if the container falls or slips off then you have dirty water all over the floor. The connection should have been better designed. Anything that snaps or slides into place will eventually lose its ability to fit tight. The plastic groves/snaps/connectors wear down quickly. And do not use third party soap because you will have excessive foaming inside the unit. The Hoover soap solution is low foam. So for my use, I find buying a new unit every year is best considering the low price vs cost of hiring a professional.

Works great!
This carpet cleaner works great, especially for smaller spaces. It's lightweight, and super easy to use. It's also very easy to clean. The only thing missing is something separating the soap from the water so that you're able to easily rinse after washing. Overall, though, this is one of the best small cleaners that I've used.

100% worth the money!
The media could not be loaded. We initially purchased the step down from this machine, I think it was the previous version. While that one removed a stain that we were unable to get out for YEARS with our other spot cleaner, you had to remove screws to get the brush out and to clean the clear sheild above the brush which was not easy. These carpet cleaners really need to be cleaned between each use or they get super gross so after finding out this one existed and that the sheild just lifted up for easy cleaning, we returned that one and bought this one. This one has done just as well cleaning those difficult stains from our carpet with the bonus of being far easier to clean! The biggest negative I have noticed is that it starts leaking out very dirty water as soon as you turn it off so if you turn it off while it’s on the carpet, you almost need to do another once over to remove the muddy stain that it will leave on the carpet. I believe this is why they now provide the rubber mat. On my second time through I just picked the vacuum up and put it on the rubber mat before turning it off. It did leak muddy water onto the rubber mat, which was super easy to clean up with a paper towel while I cleaned the machine of all the fur and dirt that it had picked up.I would 100% recommend this machine and look forward to not having to be down on my hands and knees scrubbing the carpet with my old spot cleaner vacuum next time my dogs get sick. Much less effort and far better results!
