Q: The photo looks like the box has various sizes/shapes in it - or are all 10 bandages the same 4 x 4 square size?

They are all the same size. However, its very easy to cut the one size into halfs or quarters depends on what type of wound you need to dress.

Q: Is 10 box means total 100 pcs?

No, the box will 10 4x4 bandages. Usually 10 can last a while because you can take a pair of scissors and cut the bandage to size. You just have to remember to leave at least an 3/4 inch (2cm) of bandage around the wound outside of the wound if it is small. So the size of the wound is important to take into consideration. The bandage must have dry skin to stick to in order to work and should surround the wound on all sides. I couldn't find a website that made this really easy to just show you out there, just medical jargon ones. But those 10 bandages, could actually be 40 depending on the size of the sore you are covering. If you are finding that they get rubbed off or develop edges quickly, just put something over it, but NOT a sticky tape! I've used wrist bands, a light wrapping using an ace bandage, and even a pantyhose to keep me from rubbing it off during sleep. You shouldn't have to change it for 3 - 4 days, and I've left them on for 7 days. What I like about these is that there is no glue covered tape like a regular bandaid type product, which usually mean the original sore was healed, but I'd have sores where the tape was stuck.

Q: Do you cover the irritated area with an ointment and then place the duoderm patch on the ointment?

U place it over an open area with nothing applies on it. As the wound drains, the white blood cells r contained and deliver moisture to he wound. U change it every 3-4 days, cleansing with mild soap and water before reapplying.

Q: I have a problem of the outside of the dressing sticking to clothing and bedding. Any ways to stop that?

there are several ways, using a gauze in between the dressing an cloth, using micropore 3m tape in the outside face of dressing,using some sterile powder in the ostside face of dressing,cleaning back face dressing with alcohol prior use the dressing should not be sticky in back face, review due date or temperature on storage. some times body temperature melts glue and you will have to use some remedy to avoid it. I hope it woks for you and alho hope your recovery.

Way more comfortable than large adhesive bandages.

These are great!I'm using to cover 3x3 gauze over a wound. Way more comfortable than using large adhesive bandages.To get free shipping I purchased another like item which is obviously inferior but I hope to use them.Worth spending a bit more for these.
