This is a great little flat iron/curling iron (can be used as both as is). It is small enough to throw into your luggage without taking up any room. It has 3 heat settings, heats up fast, and the swivel cord makes it easy to use without readjusting the position of the iron in your hand. I use it on short hair on the medium heat setting as a curling iron and it makes quick work of adding some body to my hair. The heat setting is perfect to do what you need it to do without damaging your hair. This is the best curling iron I have ever used. Highly recommend! The only very minor issue I had when using it for the first time was trying to figure out how to release the lock so the iron would open fully. I ended up having to find and watch a product video as no instructions were included in the packaging. There is a little black tab with a tiny lock icon near the bottom of the iron that needs to be released and it wasn't straight forward how to do it. I didn't want to break the little black tab, so watched the video to be sure to do that correctly. That was probably just my own user error. Once I figured it out, releasing the tab was easy.

I’m impressed with this little flat iron. I bought it last year to take to Spain I it worked like a charm, no need to turn any knobs for different voltage. This year used it in five other European countries and it worked perfectly. Very happy with the size and performance for travel, hope they don’t change and continue to sell it for many years to come.

I haven't used it but I'm giving a ONE star review for the following reason:Prior to ordering, I asked "Rufus" if this came with a glove. The reply was, "yes". That is important to me because I have very short hair and I'm tired of wearing blisters on my hands from hot irons.So can you guess? It came with no glove. Considering a return. I'd rather pay a bit more and protect my hands from 2nd degree burns.EDIT: MAY 13, 2025....I'm providing this edit based on an email I received from the company. They offered a "full refund" because I wasn't happy with the product due to lack of glove (see above). I'm updating my star rating to 4 (from 1) because I appreciate any company that tries to do the right thing. Nothing in life is perfect. I have used the hot iron. It does a good job on my short hair so I'm keeping it. I can get a glove at another store. So I recommend the hot iron but DO NOT expect to get a glove regardless of what "Rufus" says. Kudos to the company for their integrity.

This is the perfect mini flat iron. Great hair straightener for males/men that have wavy hair and want to style their hair and not have a huge female-designed straightener. I was skeptical at first when I received it, because of how tiny it was, but it works fantastic, and especially for the money! Just as all lower priced straighteners, it only has 3 heat settings, however that is enough to get the job done. It has an auto-shut off feature after 40 minutes, which I feel should be shorter and closer to 15 minutes honestly, as in just 40 minutes a fire could easily be started if touching something flammable. A nice feature is the ceramic plates are infused with various hair assisting products that prevent frizzing and damage to your hair. Great value and great for those males/men with short wavy hair that want to style it well and quickly.

Awesome buy! Great for short hair! I’ve really enjoyed using this straightener. It’s perfect for everyday or travel. The only thing is there is a learning curve on how much pressure to use, I’ve pulled my hair a few times. Overall, I think this is great!

If i could leave this flat iron 0 stars I would. Like an idiot, I didn’t try it out as soon as I got it (ordered for a vacation to Paris and London and needed dual voltage). Unfortunately, the first time I used it, I found that it does NOT steam - at all. I followed all of the directions and tried all of the tips in other reviews. It just doesn’t steam. Don’t waste your money - save up and buy the l’oréal steam pod.
