QED was founded in 1973 by Bob Abraham and Ian Vine. Over the years, the two partners have continuously revolutionised their preferred field and fundamentally changed the perception of individuals of HiFi cables. Now it is assumed that an audio/video cable in a hi-fi or home cinema system is just as important as an amplifier or speaker. In order to better understand the importance of a cable in a system, it is best to transfer the situation to another area: that of the car. The logic is as follows: because we don't equip small city cars with Formula 1 wheels, so why do the opposite? With a hi-fi or home cinema system, it is the same. The quality of a cable always affects the rendering of an installation and this QED has understood it. In 1978, the manufacturer sold its speaker cable, there was a general awareness of the essential role that the connectors play in a system.
