Fantastic long lasting mineral product. We had deer going to the licking stump 3 months after we stopped applying it in April of last year. Best mineral we have found so far.

The box was nice the bubble wrap was inside the box, but the product was on the side of the box with no bubble wrap around it and broken in half. Poor packaging. But I like the product.

The product works great and I will buy again. The problem is that I ordered three blocks which were shipped in a box that was far too large. The blocks were able to bang into each other during transit and two of the three arrived broken. Broken blocks do not work well in the wire frame holder.

Great product. A little on the spends side. Deer do love it!

The media could not be loaded. As you can see, one of our deer took a lick and walked away. Our house is on a cul-de-sac in a subdivision, and the “town” we live in has about 80,000 people. However, our house backs up to a wooded ravine-type area and is 2 streets over from a town walking trail surrounded by trees with a little stream. I AM NOT trying to draw them to my yard; they are here regardless, from antlered buck to babies, apparently for years if the grassless line down the side of our yard is any indication. (We’ve also had opossum, squirrel, rabbit, raccoon, and foxes.) After catching them on one security camera a few times we put up one on the path they would be taking and see them several times a week. I decided to put out 2 blocks of salt for them about 50 yds apart near our decorative hosta grass that they find a tasty. You can see how excited this deer is over it. One tired lick in passing and then off to eat the different wild grasses under our bird feeder with its friend. I had wondered why the salt wasn’t being lapped up and thought they might not stay long enough in one part of the yard, but one night I watched them through the window 24 minutes just grazing. They don’t like this brand/taste/something. Haven’t made a dent in them in approximately a month. This is from at least one family of 5! I’m going to try another (they entertain us so much I want to do something for them) but NOT this brand. (Others have said theirs arrived broken and crumbling. Mind did too. It wasn’t in any type of plastic zip bag or extra wrapping so the other items in the box had a light dusting of pink powder all over them.)

Deer in our woods turn their nose up at everything else. We have put out other flavors with little activity but the persimmon flavor they just go nuts for. This is a great price and arrived quickly. Give this a try I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I tested this product against the Apple flavored version. The deer went for both flavors, however they finished the persimmon flavor FIRST. I placed 2 blocks of each flavor in a straight line 25ft apart alternating the flavors. I wish it came in a giant block instead of the small block, but I have no complaints about the quality whatsoever.

We put these by my son's pond to attract critters from the woods. Nice for the money.
