Very Nice Switches
They are not the cheapest products you can use for a boat wiring project, but they are probably the most durable, simple to install, and are waterproof. This is as true marine grade switch in my opinion. I've had the switch panels with LED lights and other gadgets that look really cool, but they are not durable, don't hold up to heavy water exposure well, and depending on the product can be a pain to wire. These PICO switches are heavy duty and you can't go wrong wiring them. I used 3 for a small Lund aluminum boat for a bilge pump, nav light, and anchor light and couldn't be happier with them after a few months of use.

Well made. Well sealed.
Well made. Well sealed. The cover for toggle is threaded onto the neck of the switch after the mounting nut and has a skirt that seems to surround the mounting nut and butt against the front (toggle-arm side) of the surface through which the switch is mounted. The body of the switch seems to be enclosed in a rubber cover, which seals against the back side of the surface through which the switch is mounted. In short, when mounted, the switch seems well sealed against water intrusion. The contacts on the "bottom" of the switch are screw-type and are open to the environment. The switch is not submersible, but seems like a pretty good design. There are toggle switches with an O-ring where the "ball" at the base of the toggle to seal out water; as far as I can ascertain, this switch does not have such an O-ring.

Fits the bill for a DC-rated toggle switch
Glad to find a DC-rated toggle switch with an actual brand on it, rather than the usual generic dreck. I'm a little skeptical of the 25 amp rating, that's some serious juice for interrupting a DC circuit, but this is working just fine for me switching a few amps. The fact that it's weatherproof is a nice bonus. Looks and feels like a quality bit of work.

Rugged looking switch.
I got this to add local on/off control to an exterior light I added to my enclosed cargo trailer. The switch appears to be well made with a substantial rubber coating including extra support where the wire leads exit the back of the switch body. The wire leads are 16 gauge and about 6 inches long. However they are aluminum wires, not copper. There needs to be about 2 inches clearance behind the panel for room for the switch. The extra rubber support at the back of the switch makes the wiring come out straight and stiff to bend. I had to cut out a hole in the rear bulkhead compartment of my trailer to clear the very back of the switch.I wish the threaded neck of the switch was a little bit longer. By the time it went through the upper trailer spar, sheet metal and exterior aluminum trim, there were only a few threads left to screw on the rubber cap.Time will tell how well this switch holds up.

Well made and works as-advertised
Ultimately, this is just a simple SPST waterproof switch. I used this to disable the ABS on my V-Strom (thanks for leaving that out Suzuki) and it's really good at interrupting continuity when switched and and it's really good at being waterproof. It seems to be very well made and the toggle switch itself is metal underneath a rubber sleeve (that you can easily remove if you don't need it).If you need a waterproof SPST switch, get this one.
