Accurate and Easy to Use at Home
These testing strips are a lifesaver! They’re so convenient for monitoring my pet’s health without making extra vet visits. The instructions are clear, and the results are easy to read and interpret. I love having peace of mind with such a simple tool. It’s especially helpful for keeping an eye on urinary health and catching any issues early. Highly recommend for any pet owner who wants to stay proactive!

Easy to read + quick results
Easy to use. My cat had recently developed an huge appetite & was constantly crying for food. Also drinking & urinating in much larger than normal amounts. Tested his urine & got high readings for sugar in his urine. Took to the vet & they verified that he’s newly diabetic & will need treatment. We caught it early as vet said no ketones yet in his urine. This is an excellent product if your pet is developing symptoms of excessive hunger, thirst & urination which can be indicative of diabetes. Always follow up on home testing with a vet visit if strips show positive for glucose in urine.

Glad I can test/screen urine at home
Our cat was yowling when using the litter box. I didn't know if he was having problems urinating or deficating. I bought the hydrophobic litter of the same brand along with this larger bottle of strips instead of the kit that comes with both. Since we have 4 cats the larger amount is definitely needed. (You can see my review of the litter on that product page). The test strips allowed us to identify blood in the urine of our male cat and get him to the vet for treatment for urine crystals. We took the test strips with us to the vet. She stated that often at-home testing strips do a poor job of accurately testing leukocytes but that the positive blood result was very helpful. We continue to use the test strips to monitor his healing progress and make sure he doesn't develop further problems. Again, having this larger bottle is very useful.I have 1 complaint about the product itself. The test strips are longer than the collection test tube that you dip the strip into. I have to push the strip down hard to bend it until the last test pad is submerged while holding the tube horizontally.Reading each result at the correct time can be challenging and sometimes I needed to repeat the test as I wasn't able to determine the result in an appropriate timeframe. Tip: I took a picture of the results grid on the side of the bottle and opened it up in an editor. When reading the results I tapped the picture, putting a dot there to remember each result so I could quickly move on to reading the next test pad. Several test pads are to be read at the same time interval. If you try this make sure you still read the results on the side of the bottle as pictures can distort the colors. It took a couple of frustrating attempts before I figured out the usefulness of an edited picture.

Love your pet by testing him.
I buy this because I must dip my dogs urine several times a day. You don’t have to do it that frequently but my doggy is doing much better now that I am. I trust this company and love my canine friend.

Useful, but you only have 30 days to use them
These are useful for keeping an eye on the health of our senior kitty. Easy to use and decode. Her litter box uses pee pads in a tray (Tidy Cats Breeze System, 10/10 rating) so it’s easy to just press the strip onto the pad right after she gets out of the box. If it weren’t for that, testing might be trickier. However I wish I’d known before buying that once you open the container, you only have 30 days to use 45 strips before they oxidize and expire. That might be fine for someone who’s going to use 45 in <30 days, but if you’re like me and want to use one occasionally to check on just one pet, I’m going to waste most of the container. WHY is the packaging designed to open them all up at once? If this is unavoidable for dip strips, then put several mini packs inside the bigger container, ex. 5-10 strips per mini pack in a container of 45 total. That way you get 30 days per mini pack, not the entire pack of 45. I’ll order something else with better packaging or longer life span next time.(Tip: Ignore the last two things - specific gravity and leukocytes - since these things cannot be reliably tested by dip strip, no matter the brand. Per published research, those two can only be reliably tested by urinalysis in a lab.)

Reliable results!
This was very accurate for my dog. She had a high urine pH, which was causing inflammation and other issues. I later had a vet do a urinalysis. It confirmed this test’s results. I managed to lower her urine pH, and she is much better. I am glad to have a home urinalysis test that I can use with confidence.

FALSE NEGATIVES!
Hi HIGHLY suggest not to purchase these test trips for the same reason everyone else had with 1 star reviews. They do not work! My poor dog has suffered with bladder stones and UTIs for several years. She just had surgery about 2 months ago to remove the bladder stones and still has a uti after 2 courses of antibiotics. I purchased these a week before bringing her back in for a check up and tested 5 strips, all negative. I was pretty skeptical and didnt trust the test strips already due to other reviews. I also tested my other 2 dogs to see if it changed at all and they were also negative so now I'm worried they have false negatives too lol. I just got a call today to come get more stronger antibiotics because she still has a very bad uti and also needs a month worth of meds for her liver. This was a waste of money. My suggestion if you dont have much money for outrageous prices at corporate vets is to call around in smaller towns even out of your county that are old school vets. I have to drive almost 2 hours away but worth it. I knew my dog was sick but couldnt afford the crazy totals these clinics were giving me. Else where would be nearly 2k to 3k for her stone removal. The place I finally found 2 hrs away came to 400$ total and the urine tests only cost me 25$ and another 25$ for meds. AVOID any corporate clinics such as banfield or others. I worked at one as a vet tech and they purposely gouge you.
