Can you set up this unit via wireless connection or must you connect with ethernet?

You can set this up wirelessly. There is an ethernet cable included in the kit, which is mainly used for firmware updates or for troubleshooting your connection.

Do you have to keep it hooked up to laptop whole time you use it or just when you set it up ?

Just one-time setup in the WiFi CampPro kit to establish the Internet access, and you may leave it working with the WiFi hotspot. Next time, moving to another site, it might need to set up again for different WiFi hotspot Internet access.

I just got mine and yes you can I use Xfinity wifi and I use my laptop to connect to it then I use my phone to connect to the wifi repeater at that point it will say wifi sign in

seems in the paperwork there is an address of the company. The wind knocked mine off my trailer, and I had run the wire up thru a 7 foot PVC pipe, when it came down it cut the cable it two they sent me a whole using complete as a replacement. I do not run it thru the pipe any more. Love the unit. Works great....
