Good cage for mice
Really easy to clean. Be careful to check the door frame and where the wheel attaches to the cage bars because they can bow outward letting the mouse squeeze through. Otherwise, it's a good basic cage and when it is priced under $25, it's a good value. Over $25, you can find better values.

Great so far!
My daughter has two dwarf hamsters and all the cages at Petsmart were huge and expensive. This is a great cage for the little creatures and a great value!

Can be decent, but you'll need several.
First off, like many have said so many times before- this is not large enough to use as a single cage habitat, even for just one small animal. That said, having several of these cages connected by many tubes and hideouts seems to be sufficient for keeping my two mice happy and active and the bar distance is small enough to not have any escapes.I enjoy adding to the several cages I have, so I can appreciate the fact that these are so easy to build off of and connect... but be aware they can be pretty flimsy and the plastic will crack or scratch easily if you are not super careful when you snap parts into place/take the cage apart. Additionally, one of my friends has had their hamsters chew/scratch through their crittertrail cages, which was a concern for me initially, but my mice haven't damaged any parts of their cages or tubes/add on accessories. Just know that if your small animals are known to chew on their plastic toys or are escape artists, these may not be the cages for you.More on this specific cage, though, I do enjoy this layout with the top opening over the styles with the petting areas because it makes it easier to clean and maintenance the cage itself and it is easier to observe your small friend to make sure everything is okay. I clipped a hanging chew toy on the top opening of cage and it seems well liked by my mice.

i like this cage! so does the hamster !!!
love the cage, hamster loves it, wheel is great, glad the front gate is easy to open and close, it is a wire door. the concern is, the upper door, is a plastic latch, they tend to break. easily too. on my other habitats ... so, if this one too proves to be a compromised design flaw as the others are, and breaks too, this review will be updated... other than that, habitat is very nice. fast shipping too!

Customer satisfaction
I love the product, just trying to connect with someone to replace a broken piece. I received my hamster cage, however there is a defective piece, the running wheel is broken, is there anyway it can be replaced?

Little bit smallsmall but Very good cage
this cage is a miracle I’m so happy I ordered this it IS a little bit small for two mice and also you Can NOT mess with the front door part it is really unsturdy and your mice WILL escape but it is 99% escape proof wonderful cage definitely recommended

Old Curmudgeon Loves It
Bottom and top are plastic. The walls are wire cage, bars fairly thick and close together...fine for my good-sized hamster.I bought 2 so I could join them and add more tunnels later. Here I have a few rooms upstairs already. He has slept in all but the loop. Maybe it’s the purple ?We all think it’s very cool and fun, and the hamster has a lot more variety and things to do.

FAULTY WATER DROPPER FOR ALL FOUR CAGES I PURCHASED
I purchased FOUR of these cages for all four of my children. I got each of them a hamster to surprise them for Christmas morning. Until Christmas, I have to keep them in my room and quietly care for them myself. I put in all of the water droppers for each cage. I noticed at first, the water was dripping out kind of quick. I thought maybe there was too much water in them. I emptied them to half way at least and it had stopped for a moment. On another note, these water droppers are square shaped. The bar that holds them in place is made for only that container. So I can't use any other type of container unless it's square shaped (which I've only seen the round shaped water droppers). The next morning, I checked their cages and ALL of the bedding in ALL FOUR CAGES were saturated. I was so upset. How am I supposed to return these? I had to go out and buy new water droppers and try to attach them to their cages. So far no leaks. Do yourself the favor and purchase another brand. I could understand if only one leaked, but four is ridiculous. One last thing, the caps at the end of the cages (one on each side) EASILY twist off. I wouldn't be surprised if the hamster did it enough, it could get out itself. There is no way to lock it in place to prevent this from happening. I'm currently trying to figure out a way to keep it sealed. Not trying to be a "Karen," but no one needs this kind of stress right before Christmas.
