I have been forced to correct a problem with the deck I built with Western Red Cedar boards 38 years ago. The ends on the boards are rotting but only in 1" so the rest of the boards are doing well. I wish I had done this when I originally built the deck. This sealer is easy to apply and dries quickly.

Keeps the moister out. I used to paint the ends of Trex boards before installing. It's a wax type coating and is clear when it dries. It protects the ends and keeps moisture out.

Have used this product earlier, does a good job preventing logs cracks.

It was easy to use and was sent very quickly.

Use this ASAP after cutting. I delayed putting this on a couple of trees while waiting for delivery, and in the heat, they started to split on end in a couple of days. On the trees that I put this on immediately after cutting, I have had no problems. If it is hot and the trees lose moisture quickly, this is essential. It is not cheap, but losing high-quality lumber is more expensive.

I decided to try my hand and build a deck. While doing research on building and what wood to use I came across this stuff to protect the ends. Made complete sense as end cuts are exposed and not really treated. Fantastic packaging. I went ahead and applied to one side. It goes on with a color of milkey white and dries clear leaving behind a waxey type seal. Works very well with a super easy clean up.
