O2COOL Treva 10 Inch Smart Power Fan With Built In Rechargeable Batteries and USB Port For Cell Phone Charging

This is a very nice fan for camping...or even around the house. On built in batteries and 12v, it doesn't move as much air as when its plugged in, but for the smaller spaces it will be used in when powered by battery/12v, it works great. The swiveling fan means you can get it to blow air where you need it. It's very light and relatively small and easy to pack even in our pop up camper. At home we use it in the rooms around the house that need a little bit of extra air movement at night. Overall its quiet and moves air well. The charging can take some getting used to at first, but once you do its easy to remember--just remember to set it to off before plugging it in....and then move it to low or off or high to start it charging. If its set to one of the other positions when the AC charger is inserted, it won't charge.

Great little fan. I have had O2 Cools for years now. Although they never stick with any one design over the years it seems like, so It is difficult to find the right size that will fit my desktop but this is it. I really like that they decreased the amount of batteries need to run it off battery power and added an internal rechargeable battery that stays charged while it is running off the AC adapter. Great little fan. I do however not like the indicator lights on the front of the fan. They are rather bright at night (yes I sleep with this fan pointed at me all night) but I just covered them up with a couple pieces of beautiful grey duct tape. Even matches the color of the fan. Will buy again if I can find it in a couple years when this one goes out.

I got the previous model 02Cool 10" rechargeable fan in May 2010 and it is still going strong after 5+ years. It's been a real life saver (or at least: a heat stroke saver) for me over the years. I decided to get the new model recently because I wouldn't want to be without one even for a day if the old one dies out or won't hold a charge anymore after 5 years of regular use during the warm months of the year. Also, even though the fan will run 3 hours or so on a full charge, it's nice to have a second one for the rare times I need more than 3 hours or if I want to share the air.I am surprised that the old model is still being sold by Amazon when it costs $10 more and has fewer features than this one. The best feature is the new design of the power switch. The old one would sometimes rub up against something when tossed in the back of the SUV which would turn on the fan and run down the battery. This one has the off position better located and doesn't appear to accidentally turn on as easily.I also like the extra stability provided by the the legs, yet they can be quickly removed when I want to hang it by the handle.

Nice product. This fan puts out a lot of air considering the small size. You can put It on either the low or high setting. It is best to use it on the low setting if you want to preserve the battery. There are three power modes which include an electric power adapter, included rechareable battery and the option to use standard house hold batteries. It is relatively light and portable but adding standard batteries does increase the weight. I purchased this so that I will be able to use my fan in the event the power goes out. That's the benefit of the rechargeable batteries. I haven't experienced any problems with the rechargeable batteries that the other reviewer's posted (not working long). I do run the fan periodically to prolong the battery life. I would highly recommend this product to others.Pros- arrived quickly- Portable and powerful air source for the size- It has three power mode options- Easy to assemble ( you only have to assemble the bottom feet)Cons- Putting standard batteries into the fan does increase the weight slightly

I bought this fan a year ago because I live in the Chihuahuan desert without A/C. A good breeze most days keeps the 105° days comfortable but no breeze at night and some days makes a fan a requirement.This fan has done yeoman's duty for a year and then it just stopped. Sent a note off to o2cool asking what I could look at - I'm relatively electronic literate - and they offered to send me a replacement. Can't ask for better support than that!!A good fan at a good price, A/C and internal batteries and a great company behind then ... the only reason I gave them 5 stars is because there aren't more!

If I could give this fan a zero star, or even a negative star review, I would do just that! We bought this for our converted van for traveling last August. After about a month or two of using it, when on high, it would speed up and slow down... Not actually staying at a high speed from time to time. I have tried charging it fully before using it, leaving it plugged in and everything but it only continued to do this more and more over time. We didn't use it much because we spent most of our time in mild weather. We tried to use it last night for the first time since winter and it stopped working completely. Too late to return it and I naively thought maybe I just had a "bad apple", I opted to purchase another one at Target in case I needed to return it quickly. Turns out that is exactly what I had to do. Had fan #2 for less than ONE WEEK before it went out!! I will never, ever buy another product from this company again... What awful, cheap, worthless products these fans turned out to be!

Es muy práctico, dura bastante la carga

I like having 3 options to power the fan. The internal didn't last that long and internal batteries failed. The internal batteries failed after 4 years and made the fan not function at all. I opened and removed the internal batteries and works fine again using power adapter.
