This really works!
This is the only product I'll use in my home and patio, due to the less toxic nature of the ingredients. I have an outside-only kitty and feeding her had become problematic, as she didn't always finish her meals promptly. This caused tiny black ants to show up to swarm her food dish. After cleaning the area, I have been applying this ant spray to areas around her hangout and it works instantly. No nasty chemical smell. It has a fairly strong odour but it's lemon grass and pine, so not stinky. I've used it inside too. It can leave an oily residue, but that cleans up easily with a Lysol wipe or soapy rag. Amazon is the only place I've been able to find this product. I can't find it in any stores. I'll be using this as long as they make it. Great product. Very happy with the results.

Scent and effectiveness of the product.
There have been numerous reviews that talk about the scent or smell of this product. I was concerned because several stated that it was very intense/unpleasant and filled the house. I was willing to deal with it because I needed a product that did the job but was pet safe as the ants were invading my pets food storage. I couldn’t risk getting poison even close to the food and was hoping this would do the trick as I had already tried several other natural options and none were working. So, did it kill the ants? Yes! Was it a bit messy? Yes, but no more so than other ant killer sprays are. The scent is not pleasing as an air freshener or lemon scented cleaner would be but definitely no worse than typical ant killer spray and I would say less offensive than typical ant killer spray. The food is stored in a closet and unless I am next to it or step into it the scent is not really noticeable after several hours. The ants are gone for now and if they return I will update this review. So, overall I am very happy with a product that did what it was supposed to do and did not risk the safety and well-being of my pets.

Still kills bugs, but with a different, stronger scent that lingers
I bought this at a point where I had a lot of problems with roaches and waterbugs finding their way into my home. I had only ever used normal raid (regular or the slightly lemon-scented one), but as someone with asthma - the strong chemical smells were doing me no good. This product got recommended to me while I was looking around for good deals on the normal Raid, and I took a chance on it.I'm happy that it doesn't smell as bad as the normal Raid, or other brands of roach/ant spray in general. HOWEVER, the normal chemical-type smell is replaced with an extremely strong, oily smell that I can only compare to the smell of PEZ candies (?). Certainly a strange, lingering odor to smell after dealing with an uninvited bug... And when I say it lingers, it definitely lingers. I can still smell it even after washing my hands, covering my face with my shirt, or even wearing a face mask over my nose and mouth; I could still smell it through two face masks worn together...You will smell it for a good while, and it'll worsen if you have any fans running in the room. So on the one hand, be wary of where you're spraying; but if you don't have a choice thanks to the bug's location, then prepare to do some cleaning and a lot of trial and error when it comes to trying to not smell it (and getting rid of the smell). It hasn't triggered my asthma yet, but I would actually advise those who are sensitive to smells, sensitive to essential oil smells and those with asthma to not use it unless it's the only option. It's not going to smell as "chemical-y" as other versions of Raid or off-brand Raid, but dealing with the lingering smell might prove a little more (if not just as) bothersome as the bugs it can kill.Besides the smell though, the only other con I can think of is having to use slightly more spray for bugs than I have to with normal Raid. It might have something to do with the oils, it might just be the bugs I've tried to kill? But if a bug is on the ceiling or up on a wall - normal Raid tends to knock em down faster than this product does; so keep that in mind.

A more natural alternative
Safer for people and pets and smells decent too. Spray nozzle works good and doesn't jam. Also worked on another insect. It says ant and roach, but I used it on wasps or muddobbers and entire colony gone, nest abandoned.

The Scent
I brought this thinking it was a light scent, it’s very strong even when you spray a little and the scent lasts for a long time. It does leave a very oily residue.I will stick to buying the other raid products. The packing and item did come in good condition though.

Killed roaches on contact
This product killed roaches with a direct spray, on ccontact instantly. And I didn't have to worry about it being hazardous to my pets or family. Also, I did not find the smell to be troublesome at all. I thought the smell was much better than the traditional Raid products. Very pleased with the product and outcome! Thank you!!
