Best clipper ever.
Love this little clipper. At 75, weed trimming and getting on the ground is now more comfortable. This requires a little more time, but well worth it. It is light weight and easy to use. The charge lasts a long time, cuts easily and makes easy work for me. It would be nice if the wheels were four inches instead of two. I solved that with a $2.50 set of wheels found on Amazon, a long bolt, lock nuts, and a little hollow stem over the bolt to stabilize. I had all of these, but wouldn’t be much at a hardware store. If you can’t do this and have a locally owned hardware store they would be happy to help you. If a little lady can do it so can you. Would recommend

Best Ever!
I've had several of this type of trimmer over the years, and have been consistently disappointed with their ease of use, battery life and power. When I hurt my back and wasn't supposed to be bending over to trim grass around our trees, I looked for a version with an extension pole so I could use it standing up. After checking what was available in the marketplace, I settled on this one, and am I glad I did! It excels in every category. It powers through thick grass like butter, isn't bothered by stems of suckers, doesn't jam up, and the wheels are a nice feature so you can "mow" areas near the tree that you missed with the lawnmower. Battery life is great - I trim around at least 20 large trees with no sign of loss of power (my old one would have given up halfway through). You can also remove it from the handle and use it for trimming bushes, etc. (the trimming blade that comes with it works great). The only thing I can't attest to is longevity, as I've only been using for a few months. A well engineered product and a good value.

Fall trimming tool
I purchased this because I have health issues and cannot bend over without having problems so I found this. It works with wheels on if on smooth services or somewhat level ground (rocks don’t work lol). It went together very easily, seems durable and the battery charge lasted my entire project so far! The tool weighs a couple pounds and seems to be a good size. you must push both safety button and trigger at same time to run scissors. I believe it is like that for safety reasons. These can be dangerous and should never be given to kids to use or used around pets/small animals.

Great Product
I’ve had two other brands before but this is the best. I use it to cut the grass in a small courtyard. With it on wheels you can control the closeness of the cut. Ittakes me 1/3 of the time to cut compared to the other products and the ease of handling is superior. The blades are sharp which increases the speed.

form follows function
The unit was very light and put together easily. I only wish it would have stayed that way. The wheels were one of the reasons I purchased it , since I am 77 yrs old and bending over would be cumbersome. I used it for about 20 feet of grass. It stalled out in heavier grass and had to be reset. During my 20 feet of cutting the wheels came off 11 times. It looks like an afterthought design. I am a retired engineer so I wrote Scotts to inquire about a fix. They informed me that they do not make the product as it is outsourced. This is their reply:"All current and most older Scotts Reel Mowers along with the Scotts Lithium Battery Mowers and power tools, current Scotts Corded Electrical Mowers, and other products are all manufactured under a licensing agreement by The American Mower Company. They can be contacted. I contacted them via e-mail for more information. Well over a week and a half has gone by without any word.

Why do they put such crappy wheels on this tool?
I have two good things to say and one terrible thing to say. The wheels are the worst. They are so small that you can't roll the tool over grassy ground. They fall off. Regularly. They are on a joke of a shaft which tries to keep them on by friction. I replaced the wheels with 4" wheels I got at the thrift shop. That made a huge difference. I put them on with collars, washers and nuts. They are high enough that the tool now stands erect on its own and rolls over grass. But - the cutter blade is the only one I have seen that is well designed. The knives actually cut, unlike the two other similar hand tools I own. And the weight is so low that I can use it by lifting it and cutting off the ground. I don't destroy my back by kneeling. And even though I initially thought 7.5 volts was just for a toy, I was wrong. The battery lasts well and I can use it for quite a long time. With the new wheels, it has become my go-to tool for attacking the newly growing knots of grass weeds as they continue to pop up in my garden (no lawn). It reacts well when the cutter blade is stopped with a hard twig or a wire. To free the blades, I needed to remove the cutter which meant that I had to remove the tool from its clip-on holder. I hate to do this often because the clip-on just holds the tool with thin plastic edges which seem like they won't last through many removals. So with the wheel replacement, and only with the wheel replacement, the tool is mostly useful. One point - the cutter is doomed to wear out. Why can't they sell a replacement cutter? Instead, all of these manufacturers of these kinds of tools want you to buy a whole new unit if the cutter blades break or can no longer be sharpened.

Should have bought this little trimmer sooner!
Weed wackers tend to damage our property and trees, and hand clippers are tedious. So I bought this trimmer instead and I LOVE IT! Even in tight spaces it does a great job and eliminates the need to constantly bend and stoop. Great for edging along long driveways and along the house. It also cut my yard trimming time to a third of trimming by hand. Plus it came with a hedge trimmer attachment. I didn't think I needed that, but I do have some palm trees I can trim with that. Yes, the battery lasts the whole time.
