Got my old cabinet style water heater back up and running
Works great. Overhauled one of those old cabinet style water heaters and this brought some new lift back into it without having to replace the whole unit. They function as intended and were able to get the water up to scalding temps when set that way and the thermostat controls worked good to bring the temp down to normal hot water temps when set that way.

This is a great product that saved me from buying a new water heater. Universal fit, Easy to change out elements and thermostats. Unless your tank is leaking this should fix your problems. Make sure you snap a picture of how the wires go before you take apart.

Terminal screw on element was stripped right out of the package.

Seems to work like a charm
My water heater kept tripping the reset switch. The diagnostic tests I ran didn't show anything obviously wrong. This was a cheap way to fix the problem and defer the expense of a new water heater. These elements were a bit shorter and a bit higher wattage than the elements I replaced, but the water doesn't seem to care.
