Good product but exposé mechanisms are hard to clean
The external mechanisms on this product get dirty and algae build up pretty quickly. I scrub it almost everyday but it’s hard to keep clean and I’m not sure how long it will last if the mechanisms get a lot of algae in them

seems to work ok
got one for watering in chicken coop. The float valve is a standard mini one of a type I have used several times before and these have been reliable so far.The back plane where the fixing bolts pass through is not quite square to the base and do I had to use a spacer.

Works really well once you have all the fittings
EDIT: 2 weeks later and there is already rust appearing around around fixings which is obviously concerning and annoying since I paid more for this one in the hope it would be longer lasting over a plastic versionOverall I've given this product 4 stars. Once it's all connected up its brilliant and looks really sturdy and nice but it could do with a plug to drain the water and making cleaning easier. My main gripe is that in one photo they show a lovely gold attachment that looks like it would fit nicely onto an outdoor tap but the product doesn't come with it! One person mentioned in the comments theirs fit straight onto the tap so maybe it used to come with it?Anyway I trotted off to screwfix today and luckily there was a plumber in the store who helped me find the bits I needed so to make it easier for others im going to list them here. There may be a singular item that does the job instead but this is what worked for me and it cost around 6 quid so not a break the bank option.To fit it I bought 1 x Hep2O Hand-Titan Plastic Push-Fit Straight Tap Connector 15mm x ¾" (8557F) £3.37and 1 x Hep2O Brass Push-Fit Adapting Male Coupler 15mm x ½" (422FJ) £2.53

Easy to get hold of and local suppliers had difficulty obtaining it

We haven’t installed these yet as our stables are under construction but they look great really good quality

Easy to install comes with hose attached
I liked the fact it was of robust design and came with a strong hose. I bought 5 of them for horses and dogs and I am really pleased.
