It is recommended to place it under porch in the outer side or with its top covered and raised 1m/3.3ft above ground level , so that each day a few hours direct sun light or scattered light reaching to the sensor for charging up the batteries. ③OtherThe sensor is sensitive to liquid droplets - rain/fog/sprinkling. When the Dew Point is close to the outdoor temperature(T - D ≤ 2C), the PM2.5 reading will be very high(which is not the real condition).
