A lot of people may have placed their batteries in the docking tray for nothing to turn on/ charge. The same happen to me but after wiggling them down and pushing until I heard an - audible click - they lit up and started charging. Ultimately, a little finicky to get it going but once they’re charging, they’re charging. Make sure the green light is just above the top of the docking tray, any higher and it’s not seated right.

I had a hard time finding a single battery charger for my ring battery. I have absolutely NO idea where I put the original. This has worked fine, although, we have had a few issues with it. First, I put it on the charger at one point overnight and by morning when I put it back into the Ring, it hadn't charged at all. Important to note, the lights were on that indicated it was charging! So, put it back on and it charged fine while I was at work that day, but annoying that I had to go without a doorbell for a while. Second, I'm not sure where the issue is for this problem, but ever since I started using this charger versus the (now lost) original charger, the battery only lasts a month or so. Before, it was lasting closer to three months. Not sure if it's a charger issue or battery issue but we have not even had the Ring for a full year. On the positive, it is nice that there are lights that indicate if its properly plugged in and working. And being able to charge two batteries at once is a benefit as well, although not necessary for us. However, I probably will buy another battery so we never have to go without a doorbell while we wait for it to charge. But overall, this battery charger works fine, especially for the price point. MY recommendation is don't lose the original one like I did but if you do, this works.

Good product

The unit does not work at all. I put a battery that had 13% charge in it for hours and after all that time it still only had 13%. I used the same USB AC adapter I've always used and the charging lights on the battery were on the whole time. It just wasn't getting charged. I then charged the same battery using the original USB charging cable that came with the battery from Ring and the same USB AC adapter that I used before and it charged to 79% within 2 hours. Also, the condition of the box that this charger came in looked as if someone else may have opened it up and then sent it back to the seller before I purchased it. There is no way for me to be certain of that but that's what it looked like to me. It's not worth shipping back for a refund. I'll throw it out as I don't trust electrical units that don't seem to work properly.

I love this charger. I've had it for quite a while and it is still working well. I have several ring products and it's much easier to charge with this charger.

You may only need ti replace the cord. That's what we found out after we received this item. It's working perfectly.
