The media could not be loaded. I love that it’s made out of cedar. It comes with two packages of shaved cedar to put on the bottom of the house after you hang it up. It doesn’t come with hardware to hang your owl house up. You have to hang it up very high And then wait for the family to arrive.

This owl box is very well made! I was extremely impressed! Solid as a rock! Heavy built, and just beautiful with the cedar wood! I couldn’t be happier! I love how it opens in the front for cleaning. I ended up purchasing one they had on discount due to imperfections and I am still blown away by how awesome this thing is! It is cheaper than most owl boxes on the market but I tell you what, It was perfect! I know I will be buying this same one if I ever need another. I could not get over how strong this feels. Very satisfied. 5 stars for sturdiness wasnt enough for me, I would of given it a 10 if I could

We were very pleased with this house when we got it. Very sturdy and easy to put up - we mounted it around 20 15 feet up on a no longer used telephone pole. We didn't know if we would get any owls, as we hung it at the very end of December which is at the end of when they choose their nesting sites (at least in South Florida where we live). But now, Feb 20th, we discovered we have owls!One thing to note - it comes with cedar shavings, but cedar causes respiratory irritation in owls/owlets. So we bought pine shavings for the box and put the cedar in sachets for drawers.We can't wait to see the fledglings in a couple of months.

I bought this owl nesting box as a gift for clients who bought a home with screech owls on the property. They loved it! Amish made, the workmanship was absolutely gorgeous! VERY high quality, heavy in weight, made of beautiful cedar. Delivery was fast, well ahead of the projected date. If you need one for yourself or as a gift, don't hesitate to purchase this house. It's pretty amazing!

Well it wasn’t up long enough to get an owl friend - but I gifted it to my step dad for his birthday a couple months ago and a few weeks ago their house in the woods burned down in a forest fire. This was one of the only things left on their property. I’m going to give in an A+ for being indestructible.

Beautiful work but it came broken! It’s still usable but it was disappointing to spend $100 to only open it and find a broken off piece on the bottom.

Built very well with craftsmanship. I was real excited to use and hopefully get rid of some of our rat problem. Hung according to instructions, but after 3 months, no owl yet. Marked 2 stars for easy to assemble. There was no assembly required on the house, but you have to get up into a tree to hang. The unit itself it worth the purchase.
