The Golf R offers the Volkswagen enthusiast the closest they will get to a true performance vehicle direct from the factory complete with a slightly more aggressive exhaust over its brethren. In Dinan's estimation however the factory didn't go far enough so an exhaust was engineered for the Golf R that keeps the same OE mentality in regards to cabin noise (drone) intact — that being none — while also extracting more volume and tone. The result is a deep and full exhaust note that radiates a strong German flair and purpose.
