I've had this over a year, and found it works quite well.But, the parts don't fit perfectly, and that can cause problems. After a couple of disasters, and a sink full of chickpeas/sprouts/sprouting peas, I now hold the lid very firmly when turning over.Also. the sprouts sometimes grow through or between parts of the kit.Most irritating... I haven't found a good way to clean all the parts.

Does a very good job of sprouting seeds, even on first attempt. Most seeds germinate, and I find a greater quantity if you swirl the seeds upon filling the jar with water. Intelligent and intuitive design well planned for its job, and made with good precision.My only complaint is that with the alfalfa seeds I used, the draining grills were slightly too large and so trapped some of the seeds. A few of the seeds would fall out of the jar each time you drain it, which is no big issue. But cleaning out the jar after emptying can be a bit tedious trying to pick out small seeds that grow through the holes. Minor flaw. And can be solved by using larger sprouting seeds.

Not the best build ok but a lot of trouble to use ,if you forget to rinse out twice a day you might as well start again starts to smell .No good for very small seeds these fall through holes until they start to sprout..

Bought this as a gift for a friend plus a bag of seeds.It looks lovely and I think will work well - will report back on success of friend's sprouting attempts .Not too big so ideal for use in the kitchen (or where ever!!)Nice design - contemporary style.I think I will get one for myself in fact - much neater than those stacking tray units the I have had in the past.Sprouted seeds v. good for you no? and as my diet severely lacking in fresh greens seems like the right thing to do.Will update this review as time goes on.

This is my first attempt at sprouting my own seeds. I don’t have much room so the trays were dismissed, and the slanting jars looked too much of a faff as well as also taking up too much room. This design is absolutely perfect. I used radish seeds and none slipped through on rinsing. So easy to use, attractive to look at to watch them grow, and space saving. I’m looking forward to using this constantly and improving my health too.

This has proved very easy to use and has produced excellent results when sprouting mung beans, adzuki beans, mixed beans/lentils. I had no experience of sprouting vegetables before buying this and am delighted to say that it has been foolproof. I am strongly tempted to buy a second in order to have more sprouts available regularly. It is very easy to keep clean and has a commendably small worktop 'footprint'.

Looks unusual. takes 15 minutes to work out how to use it. Then you are away, and you have fresh sprouts. Easy to rinse the sprouts, and that is critical, otherwise they stink. Honestly get one, if you want to do sprouting, its really well designed and thought out.
