Ability SuperstoreTwo Way Support Cushion with Royal Stewart Tartan Fleece Cover

As someone with a serious spine injury, unfortunately I have been left with a very painful permanent hypersensitive condition around my lower back & backside areas. I am unable to sit on any hard surfaces whatsoever and everywhere I am, whether at home, sitting on my wheelchair, car or visiting people's homes (I can painfully walk with aid of two sticks about 20-30m), I have carry or sit on two separate padded cushions. Any cushions I use have has to have a "carrying handle" otherwise when I trying to walk I can't carry them.This double cushion product in the photograph looked ABSOLUTELY IDEAL for my cushioning needs. The only problem was that when it arrived I knew instantly from the package weight (they are very lightweight) that ideal as they might be in design, unfortunately the cushions are very very lightweight, with far too much "give", unsuitable for someone needing proper padding protection (as most wheechair users need). The product does not look or feel very robust. I would suggest it is not for active everyday use (with "wear & tear" it would be lucky to last a year).However it is very cheap product/quality and for occasional use, like going for picnics or going to any football/rugby stadiums (or the like), where only hard seats are provided, I would think that for the average person who would enjoy a bit more comfort, this product is ideal. My wife and children have used it & say "it is great" although unfortunately the base cushion is rather too big for a standard "hard" church pew!

Great for my old Dad's mobility scooter, especially after I added some wide elastic in a couple of places so that it can be looped over the back of the seat and doesn't fall off if he gets off his scooter. I've also added a loop and button so that it can stay closed if we need to move it around, instead of flapping open as I carry it. Dad seems to think that it's comfortable, too and likes the manly look of the tartan.

This is more comfortable than those specifically made for wheelchairs and the backrest makes it warm and comfy. Best thing I have bought in a while.

bought for mums scooter. Fits well but had to tie down. Mum says its comfortable and helps support her back.

A brilliant product for use with a wheelchair. Wish I had bought one ages ago. Improves wheelchair comfort 200%. Very practical product but also attractive in use.
