Brilliant tape, exactly as expected. Tough, doesn't crease or tare, very sticky. A pleasure to use and shall hold my shipping boxes together during my move. Will also buy it every time I need clear tape in the future. Not messing about with the cheap rolls from the bargain store anymore!

I sell a fair bit on eBay and I've gone through my fair share of bad packaging tapes, and this is one of a rare breed, it sticks and it stays stuck. One of the biggest advantages is it is crystal clear, you can do away with the mailing slips and put this stuff right over the address label and your barcodes will still be scannable which I find a HUGE benefit, as I just print the labels off and cover it with this now. The 6 pack is awesome value too, should keep me stocked up for a long time! Mr gingerbread man (handy cookie jar) and my tape guardian thinks it's great too.

This is like standard office clear tape on steroids! It's thicker and tougher, but not as thick or tough as 'repair' grade clear tape. It comes into its own when you need to mail items through the post: not only will it hold light or medium packages together, it is also very good for sticking over the address panel to stop ink running in the rain. I think it would be OTT to use this on boxes when you move home (ordinary brown tape will do the job in my experience) but for mailing it's pretty good and better looking than the cheap gaffer tape I used to use for reinforcement. *Note on cost per metre. This tape comes in a 25-metre roll. It looks affordable at first glance, but most tapes come in 50-metre rolls. If you work out how much 50 metres of this would cost I think the price nudges this up against 'pro' grade competitors such as Gorilla gaffer tape. Just a thought. One star off for moderate value for money.

This clear tape is excellent value for money especially when compared to the price of other leading brands. The tape is thick and strong and far better quality than cheaper brands . To me if I am to send a parcel through the post I want to be sure the packaging is going to be secure enough to survive the journey, this tape ensures this is the case. I have already reordered another roll so I have one ready when this first one runs out.

I bought this tape based on the reputation of the brand, and I’ve managed to outsmart myself. It is brilliant stuff, BUT, it is so sticky that it’s almost unusable without the tape ‘dispenser’ thingy. I found it almost impossible to apply by hand, but it’s way too good to only give it one star. My fault, lesson learnt, next time buy the dispenser as well.

This is without a doubt the best quality clear tape on the market. I have used it to repair many items and it stands up to many years of abuse in difficult environments such as in UV light, rain, hot and cold temperatures etc. I have been using this tape for the last 10 years now. I patched a round pellet gun hole in an exterior window 10 years ago with this tape and it is still water tight and looks clear. There is no yellowing or water leakage after all these years of hot summer temperatures, direct sun light, rain, and extreme cold (below -40 degrees every winter). This was the first thing I used it for but I have used it for so many other projects and it is great for all sorts of projects. Obviously you can also use it as regular packing tape as well.

Habituellement, je ne prends pas le temps de rédiger un avis pour du ruban adhésif, mais ce lot de Duck Tape mérite amplement une mention spéciale. Ayant un déménagement à organiser, j'ai cherché des recommandations pour un scotch vraiment efficace et j'ai suivi les conseils d'experts. Je ne suis absolument pas déçu ! Ce ruban de 48 mm x 50 m est d'une robustesse exemplaire, mes cartons sont restés scellés de manière impeccable. Mais au-delà de sa solidité, c'est son ergonomie qui est un vrai coup de cœur : il se déroule avec une fluidité impressionnante, se coupe parfaitement sans avoir besoin de forcer, et surtout, quand on cherche le début du rouleau, il ne s'effiloche pas. Finie la galère de gratter pour trouver le bon bord ! C'est un détail qui, sur un lot de 6 rouleaux et une multitude de cartons, représente un gain de temps et un confort d'utilisation inestimables. Je n'achèterai plus que celui-ci dorénavant.
