Used this for an LED mod on my GameCube. I followed the MCD Network tutorial on YouTube and it worked like a charm. For the price it’s a great device, and I didn’t have to stress about breaking it when removing the case for the mod. If it works this well cut open, I’m sure it’s great to use as intended. :)

Had this up in running within minutes of opening the box. Attached it to a 21x21 matrix with zero problems. The app was surprisingly easy to use. You have a ton of fun options in there to play with. Placement of the actual unit is important. You'll have to work out the sensitivity settings vs distance from the unit to get the effects your after. My next task is to experiment with the aux input vs the built in mic. Will update the review when I get around to ordering a 3.5mm male/male cord for the connection.

Unit works fine. Easy to install but slow to pair sometimes. Will not auto re-pair after unit is turned off or out of range so you must exit app scan and pair everytime. For car or motorcycle I'd rather have a dongle personally .. I also liked light programs that the dongle and non bluetooth controller that came with lights had... Again it works well just preference

This is not easy to connect or mine isn't working. You guys should have a step by step video tutorial on how to connect the wires to the different LED strips and how to connect your phone to the app because nothing seems to work with mine.

These are great. I leave them on one mode for months at a time,no problem. Solid colors months at time, no problem. The Bluetooth receiver doesn't have much range. Good app, you can buy a music controller for these also. Love this product.

The one that came with my LED light strip burned out and this one worked perfectly on plugin.

Bought 3 units for separate configurations. Literally all of them have issues. App is super hard to connect and won't connect to a primary network, so you have to use your phone to switch to the device local 2.4 ghz network.. but goodluck telling the 3 devices apart. App doesn't consistently control the LEDs. Worst thing is the LEDs constantly go in and out of the sequence that they are in by default into spasmatic light flashing. I've set this up in my work area for a next level ambient experience, instead I'm being triggered with near epileptic seizures. I will be looking for a new control unit that is much more reliable. Too bad I can't return these now, even though I'm just a few days outside of the return window.

Initially worked perfectly. A few days later I left it on overnight and in the morning it had stopped working. Waste of money.
