Unique design.
These little pots are really handy. Their unique design allows them to be placed anywhere without the risk of water leaking out onto your widow sill or furniture. They even come with their own potting soil. Three days after planting, my seeds are sprouting already. Hopefully, the self-watering feature will prevent me from killing them off.

Love them
I wasn't expecting much for the $8 price tag, but I'm actually impressed. These are GREAT for very small starter/baby plants. They look really nice too. They have a fill line inside the cup so you know the max fill, but I usually fill a little below it, since the inner pot will raise the water level. I like that it has holes at the top for air flow, since roots need oxygen as much as water. It also has lots of little holes at the bottom for water and air flow. I'm using pon as substrate and it's been great so far. I wouldn't use the coco fiber personally, as it soaks up water and holds onto it longer, you're likely to get root rot that way. Will definitely purchase more for my starter plants!

Nice pots
I've been using these for a few months and I love them. I did receive an insert for one pot that did not fit the outer mold. It was a different design, but it still works.

Plants died
Really wanted to like these. I followed all instructions but all three of my plants died. Basil, rosemary and cilantro. I purchased small plants rather than starting from seed. I kept tabs on the water reservoir and located pots in a windowsill where they got plenty of indirect light. All died. Unfortunately I am past my 30 days to be able to get a refund. :(

Easy to put together & you’re ready to fill with ...
These are fabulous! Easy to put together & you’re ready to fill with the enclosed sod discs & then plant with your favorite seeds or small plant. I bought some catgrass seeds & they sprouted beautifully. All you have to do to keep watered is lift the black inserted cup from the red outer container & check the marked fill line. If it’s empty or low, just fill to the line inside the red container & reinsert the black cup. Voilá! Oh, & these cups are sturdy & heavier than the usual small plastic containers, so my cat doesn’t knock these over, Yea! Plus, a set of three is perfect for my needs since I have one sprouted for my cat, one in the dishwasher, and one ready for sprouting new seeds. Love!

I think these are nicely made and not too costly — and they are ...
Edit: With the right plants, I can highly recommend these now and give this 5 stars! I have had these pots for five months. I now have an anthurium, a money tree, and a nerve plant in each. They are all doing excellent and growing out of control. I definitely think there is something healthier about drawing up water from below, as opposed to watering from above. I killed another money tree because I got the trunk wet, and that will never happen with this. These plants are absolutely thriving with minimal care, I just have to have an inch of water in the pot most days. I’m thinking of buying another set now.I think these are nicely made and not too costly — and they are rather attractive. However, I think they don’t drain well enough for many plants, so you have to really be careful what kinds of plants you plant in there. I planted a Barbados cherry plant, and it holds into much moisture, does not drain well. I don’t think I would recommend it for succulents.

Amazing product - Fantastic Service
These pots are AMAZING! When the coco coir is used, the growing medium stays very evenly moist making this the ideal growing container as the pot provides for both the needed moisture AND the oxygen needed by the root system. The gap between the inner pot also provides the ideal air pruning for a healthy root system.I drilled a very small hole thru the top sides of the outer pot, inserted a 24 inch loop of 80 pound fishing monofilament line thru the 1/16 inch hole and tied a figure 8 knot to form a hanging loop. After adding a thin 24 inch strip of maple from Loews to the top of window frame, the pots were hung by simply sliding the loop around the strip. While it is obvious that I am ecstatic about the product - the best part of this sale was the INCREDIBLE customer service. Their response and concern for the customer is simply the very best. Pictures attached.

It comes with its own potting soil
Well, first of all these pots come with their own potting soil, complete instructions on how to use it and the entire process was fast and easy to to do. My only regret was that I did not see if they had any in larger sizes. Mine were 3 inch
