Firm Thick Stable PP Bedpan Heavy Duty Smooth Countoured for Bedbound Patient (White)

An elderly relative is currently off their feet, this bedpan is solid, well made with smooth edges and the top comes off for ease of cleaning.I originally brought a Slipper Bedpan but this was too small and shallow. Given some of the negative reviews about the top splitting, I decided to order another one…..just in case.Good value for money and ideal if unable to get out of bed.Having no previous knowledge of bedpans, I would have liked basic instructions….but this was easily sorted by looking on YouTube.** Having two of these is an excellent move - particularly if the user develops an upset stomach **

Like most pans it's too shallow. I have glued cushioning to the flat top sides, leaving the opening free for emptying, but its still not really deep enough, leaving a lot of wiping to be done.Buying a squirty Bidet Bottle helped, but you still need drop space for this to work effectivelyIt's easily cleaned but try putting toilet paper in the base before its used.

Advertised as firm and thick plastic construction giving the impression that it will last a long time. It split on my first time using it, painfully pinching my skin in the process.

Can't review because haven't had cause to use, but seems OK.

I am using this for my elderly mother who now has two full leg casts on.It is superb, massively better than the ones used by the NHS. It is very comfortable with the flat wide sitting piece. Also the patient doesn’t have to sit in their own wee, as with NHS. Finally, because of the very large lip, the contents do not spill easily.Excellently designed. Having said that, my mother is quite slight - It wouldn't be big enough for someone who is very large.

Having had major knee surgery I thought his would be a good idea as getting to the bathroom want an option. I sat on it for 2 minutes and it cracked forcing all my weight on to my operated knee. That knee is now swollen and incredibly painful.Absolute waste of money, poor quality which shouldn’t be allowed to be sold!I’m now in severe pain thanks to Yumsum.
