I lost my flange on my dewalt angle grinder so i have been using my other grinder. But when I saw this on Amazon with a remarkable price on it, i was shock. I was about to buy it on Homedepot for more money and i am glad i went to Amazon first, i was lucky to buy this earlier when the price was still low. I flange fits perfectly just the way it should be and materials looks very solid, not the cheap ones. I recommend this product.

could have used just about anything (washer) with right arbor size on this 25 year old grinder but went ahead and bought so I could use some cutting wheels . works great

The media could not be loaded.  I have an older Dewalt Grinder model DW400 and these particular grinders, in my opinion, weren't originally set up for using cut off wheels. I wanted to be able to use a cutoff wheel with my grinder since I all ready have the tool. However when I would put a cutoff wheel on my grinder it would not tighten the wheel enough no matter how much I tightened the nut. Even after trying to use regular, thick washers it still wouldn't tighten. Even after asking a question in the Amazon community I didn't get a direct answer so I ordered it anyway. I got the flange today and posted a video on me installing this flange and YES it worked with my grinder. Just make sure you put this flange on the correct way and you'll be able to use a cutoff wheel with your Dewalt grinder. Just make sure you tighten the nut down before you use the grinder! and sorry for breathing hard during the video.

I wasn’t getting the depth of cutting or grinding out of my older dewalt grinder. Bought this to fix the problem. I don’t have to throw away half used grinding wheels and I can cut all the way through the granite countertops.

I was hoping to pair this with a proper cut-off wheel enclosed guard, but apparently none is available for my DeWalt model angle grinder.I'll just keep the backing flange for future reference.

This fit perfectly on my Black & Decker Quantum disc grinder - so that I can now (more) safely use cutting discs. The use of heavy gloves, a face shield and safety glasses is still highly recommended. If a cutting disc breaks at high speed, the shrapnel (pieces) can cause seriously bodily injury. Be safe!

This replaces the spacer that was missing from my old grinder.

searched a long time for this. Was not prepared to pay the +$40. Works on my Dewalt DW type 2 grinder.

Exactly what it's supposed to be. Now I can use cutting discs on my grinder without being in constant fear.
