Falsely advertised as indoor/ outdoor use
This product was falsely advertised as being okay for outdoor use. When it was received, the product itself said only for indoor use. I should receive a full refund for these not a return shipping fee subtracted.Do the morally correct thing

NOT FOR OUTDOORS
The description says for indoor or outdoor use but when it arrived, the package clearly says “for indoor use only”. And it’s not returnable despite the false advertising.

Functional sockets, plug, and in-line switch for small candelabra-base bulbs.
These light sockets accommodate a candleabra-base bulb and are shipped with a C5 or C6 size of incandescent bulb. I immediately replaced those with small LED bulbs to illuminate small buildings in a Lemax-style miniature village. The spring clips at the base of the candelabra socket appear to be the same width and “springiness “ as the ones included with the Lemax buildings, but I was using these on a lighthouse that I had built myself and a miniature Tudor half-timber cottage from England that was designed to be lit with a votive candle, so I did not use either of these units on the official Lemax buildings. Nevertheless, the candelabra-base LED bulbs function perfectly in these sockets and the in-line on-off switches work, so I am satisfied, and my judgement is that this combination is far safer than eigher using votive candles, on the one hand, or using incandescent bulbs, on the other.

Set of 2 Darices for pumpkin
I have been planning to get a electrical cord with a bulb on it for ages. Finally I did just that in time for our fake pumpkin that has a hole in the back for a light bulb to be held. I bought the package including two of the same thing. Works very well and the switch on it is good to have as well. Using it now to light up the pumpkin on the front step just before dark and into the evening.

Melts with 40W bulb in minutes
This may be a bit unfair, but this is claimed to be is a SPT/1 rated socket and cord set so it should handle 105C (221 Fahrenheit). I used a a 40W incandescent candelabra bulb and the socket melted completely within minutes. This type of bulb gets pretty hot, but I don’t know what temperature. With the lower Wattage bulb this comes with it seems to work fine, but check carefully if you intend to ever replace the bulb. A 40w bulb will fry it.

Melted, but worked great in the beginning.
These are a hazard! I don’t know if it’s because I used it in a salt lamp, but I just want to warn others about my situation so it can be avoided. This took almost a year to happen, but I’m glad I caught it before it started a fire.I added photos of the melted socket. That is scary, what if I was away on Vac. That was my biggest fear.So just be aware and check them often. They are ok, but I will never trust one again. My other salt lamps with their original cord did not do this. It makes me wonder if these are just not meant for salt lamps because of the salt and how it can eat away at everything.Hope this helps

Horrible Cheap Quality
These cords had shorts in them and stopped working almost immediately. I'm here trying to find new ones to buy now as...EVERY last cord I purchased stopped working, a couple never even worked initially. I had one that was intermittent ...if I moved cord around it's work then not work. This has now stopped working completely.
