If your kid plays hockey you need to have one of these in his or her bag. Picture this. Your kid is gearing up for the big game against Edina and they need to use the bathroom before the game. The locker room hallway is padded but there is intermittent rubber padding in the bathroom and they don’t realize that until they hear the horrible sound of freshly sharpened blades on concrete. Instant blade destruction! And it’s after 8pm at the iconic Braemar arena. No place to resharpen those skates! And now you know why this would be needed!

Great for sharpening skates for pond skating

Not bad if in a BIG bind I've used others I feel are better.. Is still easy to use and does give you a "bite" into the ice.

It’s a temporary fix tool for a bad edge or to stand up edges close to needing sharpening, but it works great. Comes with a case which is fantastic so it doesn’t get damaged in the hockey bag.

I don't pay to sharpen my skates as often, keeps a good edge on my blades!!
