I went through 2 different brand lights prior to this one. I needed a motion light for towel closet in a hallway. The prior lights I bought from other brands lights had horrible battery life and were too “white” as far as the light. This was is simply perfect for this use. The color is warmer, but bright enough for a closet. The battery life is outstanding! I think I only changed the batteries once in two years - at most twice, but either way - it lasts longer than you will expect. Easy install - easy battery change. I definitely recommend this light if you are looking for a closet light where you do not have power. It’s been two years and no issues!

Needed a motion light in the laundry area off my galley kitchen. Didn’t want to spend money to hardwire so I chose this cheaper alternative. Works perfectly. Easy to install; for safety, use the included wall anchors if you have drywall and you’re hanging from ceiling. I have a previous version of this light in my closet, this newer model is much more streamlined. Hopefully batteries don’t drain quickly.

We had poor lighting in the 2nd bathroom: Good light at the sink, but too dark in the shower and at the toilet. I placed the light above the shower curtain bar to light up both areas upon movement. The problem is- if the light over th sink is on, then Mr.Beam does not come on: too much light to activate the motion detector. Turn the light off at the wall switch and everything is ideal, as long as you move a little while you are there, or wave your hand while on the toilet when the light times out. I am thinking of moving the light entirely into the shower for that purpose only. I wish it would go on in the daylight hours and not just in darkness.

I bought this to go in my shower because it was so dark in there it was hard to shave my legs and make sure I didn't leave any hair behind. This light is perfect for what I need. Super easy to install as i was able to install it in the ceiling of my shower without any trouble. The motion detection is great and the amount of time the light stays on is perfect as it doesn't waste the batteries and light up the shower after i get out. When the shower curtain is closed it doesn't pick up any motion in the rest of the bathroom which is awesome when peeing in the middle of the night because the toilet is right next to the shower. I'm so happy I bought this light!! I did try my luck with Amazon Basics batteries in it but they didn't last. I've had this light about a month and a half and the batteries died today. I have Mr. Beams outdoor lights all around my house. They work flawlessly and last on battery forever. I've not changed batteries in mine for over 3 years. Very easy to use, set up (ladies you won't be sorry, there's no mystery instructions, I put mine up myself).

I bought this light to put on the ceiling of my closet in my rental apartment since it had no previous lighting. At first it worked great. But I have had this product for a few weeks now and it has become more of a nuisance than anything. This light turns off and on all day and night even when no one is around it or moving around it, which is extremely annoying in the middle of the night. This has also caused the batteries to drain at a very excelerated rate. Yes, you can take the motion sensor out of this light but that does not work for me since it is on the ceiling and would be extremely inconvenient and unsafe to manually turn it off and on every time I got into my closet. While the idea behind this light is great, the motion sensor itself needs alot of work and alot of improvement.

I use these inside on my wrap-around porch and outside on the overhang to my front porch. They come on as I move into the sensor area and are very bright making it safe to walk up the steps and into the house. They install with a couple of screws and then twist into place. I'm going to reorder to use in other places. I'm very satisfied!

Great battery operated motion lights for my balcony. They are a bit sensitive with the motion detector but they do the job. Easy to instal and very bright. Definitely recommend for an area where there isn't a lot walking motion or moving.

This was a great light for my shower. Wish the light stayed on a bit longer when no motion but overall I’m happy. I thought that it had the option to use 3M stickers to install it but it came with only screws. I red greened it by using the 3M Velcro and it worked great.

This was bought as a xmas gift for my parents to use in their dark shower. It works great and the battery has been going strong for a few months now. Its much brighter then the lumens spec would suggest. The 20 second timer doesn't seem to be a problem since most of the time a person is constantly moving in the shower. You do need to keep the shower curtain closed though, otherwise movement in the rest of the bathroom will cause it to turn on.
