Be Carefull When Removing Back Cover
This battery is 5 times better than my original when I replaced it. However, I should have watched an install video before taking the back cover off. When I ran the plastic separator around the perimeter, I sliced the ribbon cable for the power button. Fortunately, you can even get a replacement power button cable from Amazon!

Very Difficult to Do!
I am a handy person and almost ruined my Moto X by trying to replace the battery. It can be done but looking back it's not worth the risk mainly because the adhesive wouldn't release for me. I didn't have the proper heat source. I wouldn't attempt it without the right heat source, it's too easy to permanently damage connections in the process.

A good way to ruin your phone!
No instructions, used a Youtube tutorial video to guide me through this, but the screwdrivers that come with the battery do not fit the Moto X Gen 1 screws, in fact all they seem to do is strip the screws.I would only buy this if you plan to take the battery to a professional to install it, or if you have your own screwdriver set that actually fits Moto X Gen 1 screws and you know exactly what you are doing.
