Ordered this to install my new second sun sail shade. I was surprised to see how low quality this product was compared to the fixings on my first shade sail. The metal is so thin that I’m sure any strong gust of wind would shear the metal. They certainly would not withstand British weather! Asked to return the item and after many emails I was only able to get the refund up to £4 or pay an extortionate amount in shipping fees to return. Seller suggested I give the product to a friend as a gift. Which friend do I dislike the most ...

These are really poor quality. Bought them to install shade sail. One side of tensioner wouldn't unscrew past a few turns. Unfortunately need them to get the sail up otherwise I would have returned them.Also, I went to B&q today and you can buy good quality turn buckles for £1.89 so this is a massive rip off.

Ordered this kit because of grade 316 stainless steel as I live close to the sea, but disappointed, this is not all the items and the most important item, the threaded turnbuckle, is marked 304 which although, of high quality, will not be as long lasting and rust and deformation resistant as I would hope for the extra money paid.However the items are visibly of good quality and only time will tell

Whilst the bracketry, clips, Etc are quite good manufacture, this has obviously been sourced from China, one can tell by the fixing screws and wall plugs which shouldn't be used as the will break on installation or the heads will slip and round off, Use proper fixings...

Good product, is what it says it is.Screws could be a bit sturdier, but I live with a builder, who never likes screws that come with anything and always uses his own! They're a bit thin, put them into something solid.Good price, happy with product.

Works a treat with garden sail which is a real enhancement to the garden
