WR326

I love that these can be daisy chained! The flexibility nicely accommodates numerous types of shapes & sizes. This is so much better than the standard key rings. Organization, adding and reorganizing is so easy! What bargain!

When I bought these I didn’t really have the intention to use them as a keychain, I actually bought them to put on our luggage sort of like a luggage tag. I decorated them with pony beads and used letter beads to spell out my name and I placed them on my carry-on, personal item and checked bag. They held up great on our international trip from Texas to Dublin, London and back. In total we took 5 planes and none of the beads fell off and all the key chain wires were still attached to all the bags by the time we got home. I also used them as a sort of anti-theft ring. When wondering around the airport I would place the keyring through the zippers of our luggage and attack it to itself. That way no one could slip a hand in without me noticing. My luggage zipper also has little notches for a TSA lock but I can also slip the wire through and have the wire act as a lock as well. However I don’t recommend this if you need to get through security in the event they have to go through your luggage, they may cut the wire for time purposes. Ever since realizing how well they work as luggage markers I now use them on a lot of my bags. Not to just indicate that the bag is mine but as a small accessory since I can decorate how ever I want. The only beads I have been able to use are pony beads and square letter beads with openings of 4mm or wider. I have purchased a shorter length wire from a different company that my daughters found and they started using them as bracelets which I have come to realize is a safer option then your typical stretchy string because there is less of a chance for the key chain wires to break and the beads going everywhere. These are a great product and I recommend them because there are different things you can use them for.

POSITIVE: These ties work perfectly for the reason that I purchased them, They were purchased to bind large, nearly 2 inch thick books. I love them as they will not pop open and spew the pages everywhere as do the 'snap' binder rings that one finds in a stationary/office supply store. As you can see in the photos, they are nearly the same size as 2" snap style binder rings. If you are in a hurry and hands are full, you can pick the book up by the binding, and don't have to worry about the ring popping open and spilling the pages all over the place, as the rings are locked together by screw collar that has sufficient threads to withstand lots of vibration before unscrewing. I have a feeling that these rings will work for anything that you want to hold together in groups, such as keys, intended purpose, or anything that requires 'rings' such as shower curtains, window curtains, tools such as wrenches, measuring spoons, or anything else with an eye/hole for a ring. And for those that think they are difficult to fasten and unfasten, I have arthritic thumbs, and I was able to work the collars without tools, and the tools would have just made it more difficult, I just screwed them together. All you have to do is to line the threaded end up with the collar, as you would do with a nut and a bolt, and it screws together nicely. Now, hold the collar in right hand, and threaded end in left hand, and it is a breeze. Now a leftie may want to reverse this, but as I am right-handed, I just did the first suggestion. In general, they are just awesome LOCKING rings... NEGATIVE: I received one cable without a collar as you can see in one of the pictures, but is a fault of Quality Control, not the functionality of the product. The machine that made the items probably ran out of collars and spit one out before its computer brain noticed it needed to be reloaded with collars. I have worked in factories, and this happens. Thus I only docked them one star in "Value for Money" as I won't be able to use that one cable...

I use these for keeping keys, measuring spoons together. The screw & nut stay closed. They seem well made, as the wire hasn't frayed. Good value for the price.

Works well hasn't rusted since I put them in salt water with my crab traps

The keychain seems made well. The threads on a random selection of these all went together and secured well. The finish on them feel durable. The twist on the cabling does not have any snags. The male end of the keychain seems to go through most every key style unless it has a very small opening. The size of the 5" cable is that of a x-large metal ring. See the photos to see a regular size ring, large ring, and the cable keychain. It takes many turns to fully secure the keychain and I dont foresee it opening up very easily. The female end has a pressed end cap that keeps the male section from falling off. This is likely to be the weakest point, but it is well crimped. The thickness of the cable is firm enough to feel secure, but still remains flexible.

seems heavy duty but still comes off frequently

Good

Quick delivery and perfect for what we need

Well made and great price. You will not be disappointed!

Used to prevent the squirrels from stealing the bird feeders around the garden. Ideally suited for securing things. Stainless seems to survive the outdoor well. The screw thread is of sufficient length and protected in the barrel. I covered with petroleum jelly (vaseline) to ensure they are easy to unscrew. I am not sure you would want to put a lot of weight on these but strong enough to stop the squirrels!
