Great Toilet
Kind of weird to write a review for a toilet, but this one is great and worth it. The gpf is higher than most which is good and the elongated size and height is well designed. But the real notable thing is the simplicity of the install. It’s two pieces (tank and bowl) but everything is pre installed and it came with everything but the seat. I’ll buy this again any time I need one for a bathroom.

Very nice toilets
I bought two of these. I was concerned about breakage from all the other reviews about shipping toilets. All they had were white toilets at the big box stores. These were exceptionally well packed with their box inside another huge box stuffed with mountains of packing paper. They arrived in perfect condition.One of these would always leave some paper after being flushed 2-3 times. A plumber told me this is very common with all toilets because when the porcelain is drying dripping stalactites fingers of porcelain will form in the trap tunnel which blocks the flush. He said get one of the 3' toilet roto rooters at HD and root the toilet and break off the stalactites of porcelain. I had this on another toilet at our other house too and it worked perfectly there to fix the issue.

Satisfied Amazon customer
I was really satisfied with the new American Standard toilet and easy close lid. It was packed really well and I installed it without a hitch, plus it was delivered promptly to my front door!!

Lid for tank has damage.
The media could not be loaded. Lid has a pit hole.Model #for lid is 735172-400.021 I was told by AMERICAN Company is standing good on product.

Just right
I bought this American Standard toilet to replace another brand simply because of the flush. The other brand I had in the bathroom sounded and looked like it was going to pull you in with it. I only bought the other brand because the American Standard unit wasn't in stock at my local DIY store, and I made a rash decision because of my impatience. I already had this American Standard unit in another bathroom and was very satisfied with it. Additionally, the American Standard color was a better match to my tub and vanity top.

We like the height and elongated bowl.

Had a couple flaws on both pieces.
I hope we didn't pay for seconds. First toilet had a weird shaped hole in toilet bowl. The other had a glazing flaw on the tank. We kept them. Glaze flaw doesn't show .
