This is a deeply smoky, dark roast coffee with a good caffeine hit that isn't over powering. Love the dark bitter chocolate, woody flavours and the health benefit of being tested for mycotoxins. Works well in a Moka pot. I subscribe to make sure I don't run out.

When first opening this I thought they had made a mistake in the roasting and burnt it. It may be the darkest, most 'roasted' look & aroma coffee I have bought. After brewing, the coffee is so dark you can't see through it. Was expecting it to be very bitter. I was so, so wrong. Smooth, STRONG depth of flavour without a hint of bitterness, none at all. Beautiful coffee which I am currently using every day in my bulletproof cup for breakfast. If you're thinking of looking at this for bulletproof, seriously, give it a try. 2 standard scoops of this put through an Aeropress or your preference of brewer, 1tbsp C8 oil, 1tbsp Organic Ghee, 1tbsp Collagen powder, 1tbsp Dbl Cream to sweeten. Think that sounds like a lot of work? Depends what you want out of it. I've been doing that for a Month now. Not remotely hungry for 4-5 hours after this for breakfast and within 15 - 20 mins get a nicely energised mental clarity which gradually tapers away without any kind of 'crash' later. Oh, and BTW I've lost 10lbs in the Month. These guys have done their bit, producing a clean, powerful, flavour packed base for bulletproof. What are you waiting for? 'I'll be back !' I found the coffee an encouraging shade of dark brown, ground finely enough for my espresso machine. Packaging was very good, airtight and easy to reseal. First brew I noticed had quite a metallic taste which I blamed on a new brand of cream I was trying out. When I put the coffee through a French press for a midday latte, I noticed the taste again. Sadly, the flavour has not grown on me, and although the caffeine delivery is indeed smoother than many other blends, I personally cannot get past that stainless steel taste. Will not be buying again.

Familar with Central American coffees, organic, single estate, and this one is bitter, dry, dishwater.

Great tasting coffee at a reasonable price. It took me a few attempts to get the dosage right, and to work out how to make it so it plunges properly. Many thanks to Jamie from Lean Caffeine for prompt response to my queries. Thanks to his good advice I now enjoy delicious bulletproof coffee in the mornings, the perfect way to start the day. Please note, this coffee is finely ground and if you're looking for a more affordable substitute for the Bulletproof brand, it is quite different. Accordingly you have to be very careful when plunging but if you follow Jamie's instructions you'll be fine. I'd love to see a more coarsely-ground option i.e. three choices - whole beans, cafetiere grind, filter grind.

Having research a little about Mycotoxins after stumbling on a article about coffee production on line I then went on the search for a product and found this. The coffee comes in a nice little pouch and is no different to any other brand in texture (I really had no idea what to expect). It brews a lovely, strong coffee with none of the bitterness you get from some of the other brands on the high street. I make my coffee on a stove pot and drink it black and really like the flavour and the smell and having had 4 cups now since it arrived I can’t wait to brew some more. Not tired the lean caffeine 20 day challenge yet but I have started to read the guide and it may be the start to my 2018. Thoroughly recommended. As they say ‘you get what you pay for ‘ and this is worth the extra pennies over the supermarket offerings.

N'étant pas très satisfaite avec les marques du commerce, j'ai décidé d'essayer ce café "lean caffeine ". C'est le seul café que j'arrive à prendre sans sucre, et sans arrière goût. Je recommande à tous les amateurs de café !

Der Kaffee schmeckt toll und hat bei mir keine der Nebenwirkungen die das bei vielen handelsüblichen Produkten leider der Fall ist. Die offene Frage ist: Wieso hat das noch nicht zu einer Bio-Zertifizierung geführt. Doch ich habe dem Produkt eine Chance gegeben und wurde positiv von der Qualität überrascht.

Je ressens la différence lorsque je consomme ce café vs d'autres marques de café en capsule. On sent que ce n'est pas toxique pour la santé et je ressens un grand plaisir à chaque café. Je me sens aussi beaucoup plus réveillé après un mug. Pas besoin d'en boire plus.
