McCormick Culinary Smoked Paprika

Great depth of flavor and exceThis McCormick Culinary Smoked Paprika is outstanding. The flavor is deep, rich, and perfectly smoky, making it a complete game-changer for dry rubs, chili, and roasted meats. It adds a beautiful vibrant color and an authentic wood-fired aroma that really elevates home cooking to a professional level. The 17 oz container is a fantastic value for the price. It’s much more convenient than constantly buying those tiny grocery store tins, and the quality remains consistent from the first sprinkle to the last. The dual-sided lid is also a great feature, allowing you to either shake it over a dish or spoon out larger amounts for recipes. If you love adding a savory, smoky kick to your meals, this is a must-have. It’s high-quality, flavorful, and lasts a long time. Highly recommended! excellent value

I used to buy smokey paprika at my local Costco but then they stopped carrying it and it was so expensive to keep buying those small little bottles at the grocery store. Luckily, hubby was shopping on Amazon and found this bottle so snapped it up! The quality of the smokey paprika is just what you would expect from the McCormick Spice brand and the size is an awesome value for the money. It has a safety seal to keep it fresh in case you don't use it often, but I urge you to replace your regular paprika with this one and enjoy the flavor profile & extremely versatile. Everyone loves it when I make Rouladine using this spice and it doesn't change the color or heat level at all!

I more often than not tend to go with McCormick or McCormick Culinary spices due to freshness and quality. This McCormick Culinary Smoked Paprika is no exception to that. This product has a really wonderful smoked paprika flavor. If a recipe calls for paprika, I'm going to use smoked paprika instead. I also love to use this in my homemade Ancho Lime Taco Seasoning mix, and it is amazing (recipe below). This package is a great value in the 17oz container size and had an expiration date of August 2025 when I purchased in November 2023. That's fresh enough for me! Ancho Lime Taco Seasoning Recipe: 3 Tablespoons Ancho Chili Powder (Item B00LT0BY6O) 1 Tablespoon Grelim brand Lime Powder (Item B0BY8ZNV4L) 1½ Tablespoons Cumin (Item B001PQOAOA) 1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika (Item B005D8TYH4) 1 Tablespoon Granulated Garlic 1 Tablespoon Granulated Onion (Item B0048B35HM) 1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano 1 Teaspoon fresh cracked Black Pepper (or even better, mix black peppercorns with equal amount of coriander seeds in your pepper mill and add 1 Tsp of that blend)

Good stuff

I really enjoy this smokey paprika. The smoke flavor is not hidden and the volume is fantastic, a little goes a long way. I have used mine in pasta dishes, and deviled eggs, just to show the range of use. I was amazed at how inexpensive it was for the volume!

I always keep a couple pounds of paprika in the house.....love the spice! I tried this smoked paprika when making Hungarian porkolt and the result was good but not exceptional. The smoke aroma and flavor seems a bit one-dimensional by comparison with my favorite Spanish brands. On the other hand, those brands are very pricey and this is a good value by comparison. If you use lots of paprika, this is not a bad option, especially if you're watching your budget. If cost is no object, go for the Spanish smoked paprika.

This paprika has a smokey flavor with a very mild tinge of spiciness. It is a great addition to the spice cabinet and well worth the price.

Good stuff!!!!

I'm happy. It has a classic smoky taste that you'd expect from a good smoked Paprika. I like the shape of the container as it's hard to knock over.
