The book translates each verse of the Rudram into English then gives a commentary on the verse. You'll see the original Sanskrit, then English translation then commentary for each verse.The author also points out all of the verses in the Rudram that point to Rudram being only about Rudra. This is important since there are groups who say Rudram is not about Shiva. The author smashes that argument by showing numerous verses that can only be about Rudra.The only downside is that the entire Rudram is not written out in the back of the book in case someone wants to chant it. All the verses are there but they're translated and commented on.This is one of the best books on understanding Rudram. A must read for any Shaivite!
