Bira Craft Deep Edger Border Craft Punch for Scrapbooking(Royal Petal)

I love the way it looked in the picture, but the pattern doesn't line up and cut correctly. No matter how carefully I position it (and I'm highly experienced with these) there is a hanging chad. I've been cutting it off and fiddling with it, but that defeats the entire purpose of a tool that should make clean cuts.

I have a lot of paper-punches and this is one of the best I’ve ever purchased! I was somewhat concerned because the “cut out” is quite swirly and complex, and I was afraid it wouldn’t punch properly. I just used this to punch 65 sheets of prepped (acrylic, watercolor and ink) paper to make candle-wrappers for the upcoming Christmas season at church. It was just as clean on the last punch as on the first. I will look for this brand of craft punch in the future. It’s outstanding!

So beautiful, and easy to use. I bought this to make save the date cards for my wedding. I'm really happy the paper doesn't get stuck in the punch, like other brands I've used. So long as you use some force, and make sure to get a good punch, it works great!

Beautiful pattern—when the paper doesn’t get stuck because the punch mechanism doesn’t release. I’ve tried the recommended “cut foil to sharpen” and “cut wax paper to lube” but it doesn’t help. Wasted a lot of Greeting card paper on this punch!

There is no plastic backing where the pieces fall when cutting, makes a huge mess, nothing to catch the shavings. If you can offer any insight into why its like this i would appreciate

An EXCELLENT crafting tool. I am pleased with its durability and heavy construction. Makes pressing easy for the wrist. Will only buy Bira decorative border punchers.

We liked this product because it's reliable for making an attractive design. However, as with many of these devices, we wish it had a piece on the bottom to catch the cuttings. To be fair, many of these cutters don't have that.
